anyone has any idea how to soften leather gloves faster besides keep wearing them?
i got a new pair of gloves and is abit stiff
hope to soften the leather faster to make it more comfortable

You can:

- oil them

- wrap them around something during the night - a bit like baseball gloves: to break them, players put a ball inside and wrap the glove around it, with the help of a rubber band

- if they get wet, let them dry by themselves, don't put them in front of a fan / heater / hair dryer to dry them.

As for the insurance, I think AXA can be very competitive. That's the one I'm gonna take, cause their price for my riding profile fits my budget. You should get a quote for the others and compare so you can make the right choice

i called ntuc and axa liao
mitsu they replied me that they don't do bike insurance & alliance i think need 25 and above
looking to find other company see can get more quotes or not

i think axa shld be cheapest for our age. i asked NTUC they quoted me 200 plus more than axa. haha anyway lanzer, ur bike is well taken care of!

er.... We might need to book a pit through the AXS machine islandwide... If not i am jus afraid we might get booked... alternative we can jus buy a few disposable barbeque pit will do too...

Can try to make it on sat night? wedding dinner to attend on fri night... Then somemore sat afternoon we can all go buy the stuff in preparation for the bbq... Fri afternoon most ppl working hard to go down...

in singapore, as long as it belongs to the govt, you will likely need a permit to utilise, heh heh. prevents fighting/squabbling over pits by the masses.

BTMO - BBQ by the Beach cum safety awareness meeting!!!!

Ladies n Gentlemen, Boys n Girls, As our lovely pulsarette has agreed to host this month BBQ through a BBQ session. Let us show our appreciation by confirming our attendance through this thread first. Pls do note that ur attendance will help to faciltate the preparation work as we will then know how much to cater for. For those with weak internet connection n unable to reply to this thread, fear not. U may call our lovely pulsarette O'Ren at hotline number 9161 7501 or me Viewpanel 9173 7097to confirm ur attendance.

Halal food is provided. First timer and old timer are all welcomed. In fact we will warmly welcome all first timer to join us for this BBQ. Our Lovely Pulsarette will also dedicate her virgin speech to present to us on prices and stores where people can go get their safety gear from. And for each item, how much it costs, and where to get it, and why it's important to wear it. This is a special gift from her just to raise awareness and help the group be more concerned about safety issues.

We are also proposing for everyone to bring their riding gear with them. (non-compulsory but strongly encourage) Anything that they use for safety: boots, FF helmets, gloves, jackets, pants etc..

The purpose is to share with others and have everyone have a look at the gear they might be interested in purchasing.

In short, hurry register ur name now! Lucky draw will be held as well. Top prize is a Mercedes SLK newspaper cutout...

The total cost will be shared among all pulsarian, and expected cost will be aroung $10-$15. *price is indicative only, and it does not represent the actual cost. For those with low finance, pls feel free to approach Viewpanel Finance Pte Ltd for a competitive lending rate. *Best in Singapore n JB. Some say in batam.
