i dont know much about handle bars..but rental is the one most scramblers use rite..with the sponge on it if im not wrong?..and its a wide type? i saw one post in this thread regardin handle bars..those long types etc...read bout the pro n cons..maybe u shuld check previous posts...

 

yeah rental is the wide ones usually used on scramblers, bt commonly found on Super 4's..btw can link me to that post(s) i can't seem to find it...is it that long ago?

servicing wise there has been a list posted few pages back that lists down the cost of the different parts w/o labour

for your basic servicing normally is change EO and maybe can take up the $6 servicing package

this will cost $16(if you change mineral oil) for P180

lol ... new bike bought at UM have 3 FREE servicing lah .. the $6 servicing will commence on your 4th visits once you finished your running in ... presently now you are paying ONLY EO cost ... the labour for basic servicing are FOC. So prepare to pay the $6 for your next visits hahahaha

Hi Everyone I am a new Pulsar rider, has been the bike for about one month and I am very satisfy with the bike due to its super good fuel consumption. I was advice by the UM shop technician to do a servicing once every 2000km.

 

Does anyone know what is the cost of the servicing and is there any better shop to do it other than UM?

New bike have 3 FREE servicing .. no worries at this period ... follow their advice during your running in period ... after your 3 FREE entitled servicing, the charges will be $6 basic labour only ... remember to ask UM how long your bike warranty. During the warranty period too .. wise to go UM for your servicing .. after the period it's up to you lah .. if you got lobang for free or cheap cost then go for it .. end of the day it's your pocket...

I know.. it's not easy to have everyone's time available .. just PUT UP THE DATES and will see from there .. if just we have like our Indonesian Brotherhood spirits .... our SBT will be one people eyeing ... to be honest there are a couple of time people said to me ... wah your pulsarians group very active at the forum .. power! .. hopefully our spirits at SBT too will never die off ..

 

Nemesis Prime ask me to bring our SBT forward ... if only I'm young as you all ..I will definitely do it .. but now at this age and family I will just support what ever I can here to move our SBT forward .. for start I will try to active the west area first and if I'm strong enough I will do my part for .... Wanna post a question here. When i ride my pulsar 200 at the speed of 97kmh, the rpm is like quite high and i'm afraid to go faster. Rpm is abt 7 when i travelled at the mentioned speed. What do i have to do to reduce the rpm when travelling at a higher speed?

1... the handle bar with the Motovation balancer become slightly longer than the stock ... now my handle bar like renthal handle bar hahahahah ..

2... weight not like a bomb (stock more heavy I think), but price super bomb .. $65

btw alternative also you can contact Cookie Monster ... test ride on your bike with his cdi pggy back, racing coil and air filter ... feel for yourself the diff before and after ... but do remember .. how you change about, our bike still have it's limits ... FC is still a must for bajaj pulsar.

similar to the small holes, need to be welded, the exhaust pipe flange need to be sealed from air leaking by using the flange gasket.

I think I know how to operate to make similar like yours but a better looks. I saw the picture of the Indon pulsarian mod the head cowl .. hehhe me like yaya onli ..

welcome bro. my advice to you is dat, be patient. start saving cash. i payed a min of 1k for downpayment just for my 2nd bike. things to consider/ask urself:

 

-saving cash just to pay ur downpayment for d bike. at least $1k. p180 n p200 costs around $5-6-7k depending on d shop.

-the min. monthly instalment is roughly around $130+. do u hav enough cash to support urself seeing ur current income? wat hapen in case of emergency?

-maintainence issue. minor2 stuff okla, but wat happens if its major?

 

im not trying to scare you. u should should know dis cos u mentioned u hav diff dealing wif ur previous bike. if u die2 wana get di bike just becos u luv it, den

try to search for a 2nd or third hand in d used bike section or any other places. my cost of overhauling d bike a month ago cost me $800+. others even higher. so

do some thinking n dun rush things.

Welcome tamahak, I agree with SG Gaban, good advice there.

Take your time, I know you probably can;t wait to get it, but think carefully. I wanted this bike since 1.5years ago. Took my time to save, and when I saved, had other priorities, had to put the money into something else, then save up again.. and finally, I just got it. And the guys here can tell you, I've been around here since June and just got the bike. I'm glad I took my time and didn't rush taking up financial decisions I would't be able to handle or manage.

 

For your second job, I don't think we can help much here but I'm sure if you look around on the web you'll find something that will suit you for sure.

We are ALL LEARNERS ... just sharing what we have went through

 

I do recal one incident during my NS time... me and my partner were on patrol riding scooter along Kranji Rd and saw 1 Constructicons truck failed to give way to a coming vehicle and sped off .. we decided to give chased and stopped that evil Decepticons .. along Woodlands Rd we intercepted him and flagged him. Once stopped, my partner approached him and asked him to get down but he just stared at him and abusively said what if he refused.. my partner warned him and still asked him to get down but still he gave that decepticons look ... see here .. even we as Officers, they don't even bothered to respect and yet try to be abusive ..(but in reality my partner did approached him the wrong way)..who are we trying to confront these decepticons character ..

hahaha but you want to know what I did after seeing my partner being humilated ... I, me hehe with THE POWER OF MATRIX in my hands .. just smiley and asked for his DL and explained him nicely why we stopped him. In return to the decepticons I told him that an invitation letter will be coming his way soon to meet the CHIEF PRIMES and prepared to bring lots of cash on that day or will spend the nights in the Cell ...

 

Morale of the story, we are just 2 small wheelers and they are 4 or worst the 8 and more wheelers ... Decepticons will always look down at Autobots but still Autobots ruled at the end of the day ... hahahahahah

 

Sorry for the rubbish stories again .. hehehehe
