I always park on a proper parking space whenever possible. But as Biker says **** do happen. Sometimes we are faced with situations beyond our control.

Nah,i was caught riding by QX....lolx....$70 without demerit points.:)

 

last week me n fren ride up pavement shortcut go mac at the sembawang road the drive thru. it oso bypass 1 traffic light. red that time but ride on pavement no need follow lite mah.... i turn behind to see hw fren doing n suddenly i caught sight of a qx on the road, lane 3 the closest lane to pavement. jus turn green then n very sure he saw evrythg. i tot jus stanby 70 but the qx like bo chap onli. he didnt even bother to get out n give a stern warning. very impossible didnt see leh.... jus ard 2 car lenght behind us. my fren so stupid see police still follow me ride up pavement. haha dumb arse guy.

Hi the_scientist85, pls dont do such a thing in future, you are behaving like some of the "Kup Kia" Malaysian bikers. If you get a ticket.... treat it as "pay to learn".

yeah i noe. my mistake. jus nw in jb i go against traffic flow in 1 way lane.infront got polis riding a cb750 bike. realli bochap. but dis time i stop a while but facing like going against traffic flow. wen polis rode past me in ard 2 or 3 metres away i oso go. 2nd time polis see me go against traffic flow. u noe the alley in front of the polis hq. qte a long ride. den ride on pavement infront of restraunts cos that traffic lane too narrow to go against traffic. (many cars ther). but of cos i wont do again in singapore

doubt so, pavement n road is different. if really kenna that, then immed take a photo n appeal.

 

 

Not really, the zig zag lines are there for a reason. To avoid having vehicles in the vicinity of the zig zag lines. So parking on pavements that is near to the zig zag line is regarded as parking on zig zag lines.

Why should he have remorse for summoning you for making the illegal u turn, riding against traffic and on the pavement?????

 

He is right to tell you to push the bike, not commit more offence for him to disqualify your licence instead.

 

And riding diversions? I dont think you know anything about how the diversions are distributed to the 2 wheelers officers.

 

So please, do not embraress yourself in a forum here by typing things your little head does not know.

Well, my sub did a similar thing in malaysia. We only realised the bike aka me the owner was summon till we checked online.

Accident can happen anytime, anywhere.

However ask yourself, do you want to fall at 120km/h or 60km/h?

But if itz National Parks Board, they dun have wardens.. so park on grass = no summon???

 

My friend jus kena summon for parking at grass near East coast park.. How much do you tink he kena?

 

Guess it right.. Its $100.. More than parking at pavement.. So unlucky my dear friend.. :cry:

Caught riding on pavement by tp. I thought he gave me chance cos didn't tell me directly to wait for letter or give summon notice or checked particulars.

 

Possible that he just take down my plate no. and go summon?

ai ya jus pay a 65cents dun have to worry so much mah. even if shopping centre the most 1 dollar whole day. jus like 1 dollar wun harm u so much ma.. save u the trouble or worrying and stuffs.

 

This is true. Compare the fines against the parking fee. Guess we are comparing egg against stone.

Just kena a summon from Cisco. Parked at the pavement outside causewaypoint, went in get something and was back less then 10mins. Saw them happily issuing summons. haiz

 

Any chances for appealing as i parked just for awhile just to get somethings, know its my fault.

haha..too bad..i was der too..as i just reach n tot of parking der, saw dem issuing summons, quickly turn around n park somewhere else..luckly i saw dem..btw, i dun tink ur appeal wil b successful but u cn giv it a try..

wa park at pavement fine so jialat ar? the boon lay power lasi lemak there everytime i see so many bikes park at pavement . . i also go follow. the wheelock open carpark also . . sometimes no space i see pp park at the pavement there. next time i see no space, i think i just park beside a bike parking lot =(

there's a place further down where parking is free, the road no lines.

 

i also park at causeway, but it's accross the traffic light. there was once i noticed those cisco. i was scared he summon me, i stayed with my bike until he pass, he saw me and didn't even bother.
