Maybe he is 'hearing' the typical nice piercing sound of Harley and the retro look of Enfield with it typical full motorbike sounds of yesteryear!

 

Xishuo, do u mean when it's hot (the sun shines at 12 noon) we cannot get Shadows? This time i'm confused. I am trying to imagine from your joke. LOL

 

When I went hunting, I see lots of chrome and chrome and chrome - it reminded me of your Shadow ACE.

 

Yesterday, I saw Cruserian's Shadow - it is stunning with shining chrome and excellent paintwork! After that we went about to 'hunt'. It's fun talking to proud owners who freely shared information ( like you do, One Headlight )

 

Shadow is me as a cruiser - all others are sweet temptations. LOL

Btw, it is really easier to get HD and Royal Enfield compare to Shadow (the good conditioned one) reason being:

 

- You are still able to get first hand HD/ RE

- most of the used HD on sale normally are well maintained ones

You mean it's easier to get an HD sportster or Royal Enfield than a Shadow ACE in Singapore?

 

Why?

 

sportster & enfiled is definitely easy to get if you've th money.

HD can easily be bought from HD for a first hand piece,

2nd piece wise, many shops still hav em, event th old models for a cafe look.. Loois has one piece on lvl3.

 

enfield, 2nd hand hasnt rlly seen em in any shop but bukit merah has lotsa new pieces..

2nd hand pieces thr, yes, but its hardcore expensive due to th plate register.. AC plate, AQ plate.. (y)

yes, its easier to get HD & engield compared to good condition ACE or just anyothr shadow i believe..

mainly, i doubt bs is bringing in anymore shadow.. you can only get em 2nd hand..

try mah motor, get em to import new piece of you'r verrryyyyyy keen ttm on getting one.. (:

BS has new Shadows - 2 models - one is for 18k+,the other 17k+ - machine prices. I am not into new bikes.

 

Cruiserian was lucky a few months ago, to get well maintained Dec 07 Shadow for a good price!

Had never bought a bike from overseas. I understand that are some regulations for bringing used bikes. They must be less than 3 years old. There are other costs to add. Too much hassle, Jim.

 

What Classified Ads are referring to?

 

Patience necessary for handsome pay offs, I'm sure. The right Shadows will appear - the Shadows I like to choose from must be in in excellent condition without bombing on me. Also I don't want to spend a fortune to restore a bike or get it to ride smoothly. So better not to rush even if it means hunger pangs to endure! LOL

 

Another advert would be under Used Bike Forum of SBF - WTB.

yeah... Agrees.. I let go a blue one 4 months ago in immaculate condition. Finally i found one with terrific engine condition. Outlook may not be fantastic but it's definitely worth every bucks. Wait patiently.

I was late for that Shadow- it was already sold when I saw it last week - FBA Plate. Another (not done up yet) Shadow 1100 FT Plate will go a certain price - I think I will not go for 1100cc.

Today, I visited the Agent Boon Siew. They have a Shadow Classic VT750 CA ( machine price S$ 15800) and a Shadow Spirit VT750 C2 (machine price S$16300) in the showroom. Both in Black. There is this Fueno VT1300 CX blue colour ( machine price arnd S$23500 ) on display

 

I also viewed a used Shadow Aero 1100, black on yellow colour at Mah (at Seranggoon Road ). Did not ask the price or note the age as I will not be going for 1100cc. Mah has also new units that look similar the units at Boon Siew. Did not ask the price.
