Why don't we ask our own church for "donations"?

 

I mean, toys that they may have grown out of?

Or even necessities? Clothes? Food? etc etc?

If i got 5 million, wanna buy a fully refurbished peranakan house in malacca, then persuade nellie to wear the traditional nyonya clothings....heheh.

 

Of course...i will never wear the men's batik shirt. Too ugly.

the toy helicopter is v nice.. used to have one, lost control drop from L12 to L1 and still suriving. my 2 yrs old nephew love it. who got the top prize?

 

YK: you went berkat lately? yupp now beside darlisa, alan is now the youngest. he wanted a transformer =)

 

bible says ask and it shall be given. maybe tim can teach alan to pray abt it keke.

 

must teach them to share also. don't like to see them jealous or envy or

fight over it.

Batu Pahat hot spring

 

Come come everybody, those itching to go somewhere,

this Thursday 1/1/2009 we are going up to Batu Pahat to

soak in the hot spring.

 

Meeting time / place:

9.30am onwards, Gelang Patah Esso. Move off 10.00am.

 

Rough plan:

lunch at Batu Pahat, soak in hot spring,

if time permits we can also go to Gunung Pulai

waterfall on the way back.

paiseh, i didn't catch the boy name, maybe its peter. But i do know he is chinese/philipino mixed one. He , Joshua & Emmanuel alll sang the song "Above All" without music & w/o looking at lyrics. My lighthouse church friend think he is most talented - he won the helicopter.

 

The boy alan is youngest & cutest, but always throw tantrum & cry. Maybe he newly joined the orpahange; not adjusted yet. Pastor raymond said he can't understand why the mum got the heart to abandon such a cute little kid. :(

ya..always forget to count our blessings... men weakness...

Raymond says Alan when 1st came goes around begging visitors for biscuits... his parents must hv always left him hungry.....

 

ai... been troubled by work problems and d financial and economic bad news daily..til d fear sets in.....fear grippin my heart... low mood...etc... even nitemares past few nites..

 

but readin Proverbs 3:24 lastnite help calm nerves:

When U lie down, U wil not b Afraid

When U lie down, ur sleep wil b sweet

Have no fear of sudden disaster

Or d Ruin dat overtakes d wicked

For d Lord shall b ur Confidence

and will keep ur foot from being snared

maybe each time we feel worries; we can imagine the thoughts of Jesus sufferings, nailed to the cross & died & He rose again on third day ( like going thru Holy Communion, we remember the whole cycle). It represents how much our omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient Father God loves us. All worries & doubts (maybe even sickness if we have faith) will flee for sure. A peace which cannot be explained will come inside our hearts.

haha.. yes 2.5hrs is short.

 

but not when im going with all the 1 lit bike. its stressful.

i went Kluang n Mersing last week with 2 fazer 1000, super stress :sweat:

Then i was soaking in His creation, the sky was so blue and clear.

 

Looking forward to 1 jan ride.

Contemplating.. most of time, my 250 serves me well and its a collectible leh (waiting to be restored), tried to own 2 bikes, its not working for me.. maintainence too high.
