Pastor Moses is always planning and working towards his ultimate goal: To build and pastor a mega-church. It’s because of this that he’s always twisting his sermons in any way that will help to make his great religious dream a reality.

 

John is obviously disturbed by this. Why can’t Pastor Moses just preach about the love of God simply because it’s so wonderful? Why does he always have to have a practical point? And why does every sermon end up being more about building the church than about Jesus anyway?

 

Because Pastor Moses failed to understand that he should not measure the love of God with attendance statistics. God wants quality. Not quantity.

 

Many mega churches failed to see this point. The church kept encouraging massive turn out but failed to lead the congregation to the direction of proper christianity build up. Impressive facilities, premises & statistics. But how sure is the quality of the X factor that links believer to God? A good packaging does not guarantee a good product.

 

Who says being a pastor is easy and a ticket to earthly wealth? Those are not blessings. Those are sin baits to tempt you to lose your orientation and plunge the whole church into the mire.

I'm still stuck in HK. I was supposed to go back for reservist end of the month but can't 'cos my wife's grandma passed away and my parents-in-law are not willing to look after my son when I'm gone. Yeah, I can bring my son back with me to SG but I'm not sure if my relatives are able to cope 'cos my son is getting to be a handful

 

Next time I come back will be in June or July :sian:

erm, i have no intention to migrate to this type of plc.

short term still ok la. can tahan.

machiam fieldcamp conditions. haha..

HK is 100x better plc to migrate. =)

 

m only back for 2wks during CNY. maybe can do short short trip or makan trip.

or, CNY visitation , like last year =)

i believe everyone also busy during CNY.

last burst of fire b4 sell.

haii, cant bear leh. alr do up so much.

but cant let it park there for 1 year right.

Earth rotates or spins toward the east, and that's why the Sun, Moon, planets, and stars all rise in the east and make their way westward across the sky. Suppose you are facing east - the planet carries you eastward as it turns, so whatever lies beyond that eastern horizon eventually comes up over the horizon and you see it!
