no..pls read carefully what i wrote..what i mean is that i dun do bad things towards other people, doesn't mean that they won't do bad things towards me. i mean bad things..not good things..u do good things dun need ask for return one as u sincerely want to do it..wat i mean is i never go and disturb, bother or watever u call it, y ppl will come and attack me? but theres always these ppl who will go all out to destroy you just for their own selfish desires, although you never do anything bad towards them.

9am Meet at marsiling mrt taxi stand.

9.30am Depart for JB custom.

10-11am Eat famous sambal roti prata & teh tarik at kopi tiam near pelangi mall.

11am-12pm Berkat orphanage mixing with kids & knowing them.

 

12.00-2pm Bring kids to bukit indah for lunch - if we have enough bikers.

12.00-2pm Sponsor the kids KFC or mcDonald - if we dun have enough bikers. We'll tar pau the KFC at pelangi before coming to the orpanage.

 

2-3pm Praise & worship time; singing children christian songs

 

3-4pm: Scripture memory contest. I have already bought prizes for this.

 

4-6pm Those kids who are very outstanding in scripture memory , reward is bring them to Lam seafood near Perling. Alternatively, dinner buffet in either nearby Hyatt hotel or jb's Pan Pacific hotel. Very value for money & safe parking.

i have been back stabbed a lot of times but i still remember God's word, so i jus let it pass and focus on God and God has showed me tht He's in ctrl.

if u dun wan pple to do that to you, dun do that to others...this phrase was what i always felt right and always do. but its not real. even if you dun harm ppl or watever. ppl will still do things to you. there will always be people out there trying to harm you or put u down .. always wonder y cant " jing shui bu fan he shui" (well water dun disturb river water) there will always be evil people out there willing to do anything just to surpass you, just to climb the corporate ladder, or just to make themselves feel good. seen so many evil till my heart also cold liao...life really hopeless. in this world..evil seems to triumph all too often..

 

do bad guys always win? I have started my working life in 1982 & seen what happens to "good" & "evil" people in the long run from a christian 's perspective. I must stressed the word "long" run. Let me state my viewpoint.

 

It is not true that "evil" people always win & "good" people always lose. But its people with low EQ & low human engineering skills who are the losers in work place & social circles; with disregard on how intelligent their IQ & his paper qualifications. "Good" people with high EQ & human engineering skill always win.

 

So how can a young man who is also a christian jump start his EQ & human engineering skill to a level so that he can survive happily in society & workplace without being trampled by the stronger ones? One way is to study the book of Proverbs in the bible; which is written by King Solomon, the wisest human in the world ever lived .

 

It contain teachings, precepts & principles of how to deal with many life situations. It contains heavenly wisdom that surpasses all earthly wisdom. (Proverbs 1:1-7) What makes it different from psychological books on social interactive skills is the heavenly wisdom begins with transforming the human heart. For example, it says that fearing the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. (Proverbs 9:10) It means our heart must fear the Lord, then wisdom shall begin.

 

What can this heavenly wisdom do for you? According to Proverbs (NKJV)chapter 2:

12 To deliver you from the way of evil, From the man who speaks perverse things,

13 From those who leave the paths of uprightness To walk in the ways of darkness;

 

How to acquire wisdom from book of Proverbs? We need to possess a submissive heart to His will, then we can comprehend the vast depth of the wisdom within. Only when we ask with full humility to the Holy Spirit to teach us, then we can uncover the many profound wisdom which can boost our EQ & human engineering skill in dealing with many life situation.

Now let's talk about office politics. Is triumphing in office politics by "evil" means , a way to move up the career ladder? Seemingly a "evil" guy who backstab by telling a untruth, seems to get away with it. But then later, the truth will surface & the "guy" will be branded a liar & distrusted or discounted by people for every words he spoke. This is one example why "evil" never pays. There is a invisble supernatural force that governs society; for every kind of evil deeds, there is a corresponding retributions.

How to rise up in your career? By backstab & other evil means? No way!!! It is by 3Cs only. Competency, Character & Consistency.

 

1.Competency means study & learn beyond what you need to know for your job, through reading & studying courses. Be very competent in whatever job you are doing.

2.Character is going the extra mile, be teachable & ready to learn, be ready to help, trust worthy & reliable during crisis & conscientitious in your work.

3.Consistency is behaving the same character even when your boss is not looking.

 

With these 3 C, you will never be retrenched during bad times. During good times, you will be promoted unless the boss is a fool. A fool & his money will always parted.

From my 26 yrs working experience , 3 C usually works but sometimes can also go wrong (although its rare). One thing never go wrong for sure is when our Almighty God's directly bless the person because he makes a sacrifice for Him without expecting any returns.

 

Here's the true example. A colleague of mine, took a 6 month no pay leave to study bible college in city harvest church during the last recession few years ago. She is not afraid that she will be jobless after the 6 month of studies, during a economic recession period. She joined my company 8 years ago as a junior engineer & now she becomes the general manager of the sembcorp business unit known as Sembcorp gas pte ltd with turnover of few hundred millions per month.

 

What I heard is even though she is a GM, she still trying to outreach the gospel to her subordinates !!! When I spoke to her recently, she is still the same, humble , approachable & ready to share her faith & testimony to any one.

 

Myself is same, I was a cold christian for more than a decade & my career was also cold shelved. I was a smoker & I attend church & do nothing else for Him. When I woke up several months ago & burn with zeal for Him, reaching out to strangers, orphans, workplace christian fellowship, attends church BS, lightriders BS & fellowship & reaching out to a ex-convict in Teen challenge home, God blessed me with a promotion & capital appreciation on my private property. When I put God first in everything, he blessed me so much until my cup overflows (Psalm 23)

 

My message here is this:

1.Love the Lord your God with all your heart (Mark 12:30) by living your life for Jesus & treat everything you own as His. Use every resource & talents you have for the expansion of His kingdom.

2.Even when things seem bleak at first, "the harvest fails & the streams are dry", continue to trust Him & believe in His precepts & apply them daily in our lives. Always trust that He will provide your daily needs.

3.Continue to grow your faith till it becomes the size of a mustard seed; in order that you can cast mountains of unsurmountable problems into the sea by the name of Jesus.(Mathew 17:20)

 

In the long long run, you will some day look back & be surprised how much He blessed you till your cup overflows.

bike clutch cover was damaged... dun know if internal damaged also or not...gear lever damaged.. later going down to speedzone to fully assess d damage...

 

yup yup...like my mail said abt dat little brave gal, Dora.... after going thru 21 days of heart lung machine...she gave tanx to GOD and praise dat GOD is very very very Good...dat she survive..its a miracle..
