JB Orphanage visit on this coming monday 8th Dec.

 

9am Meet at marsiling mrt taxi stand.

9.30am Depart for JB custom.

10-11am Eat famous sambal roti prata & teh tarik at kopi tiam near pelangi mall.

11am-12pm Berkat orphanage mixing with kids & knowing them.

 

12.00-2pm Bring kids to bukit indah for lunch - if we have enough bikers.

12.00-2pm Sponsor the kids KFC or mcDonald - if we dun have enough bikers. We'll tar pau the KFC at pelangi before coming to the orpanage.

 

2-3pm Praise & worship time; singing children christian songs

 

3-4pm: Scripture memory contest. I have already bought prizes for this.

 

4-6pm Those kids who are very outstanding in scripture memory , reward is bring them to Lam seafood near Perling. Alternatively, dinner buffet in either nearby Hyatt hotel or jb's Pan Pacific hotel. Very value for money & safe parking.

 

6pm. Return via 2nd link Tuas side.

Chapter 1

 

10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him.

 

Q. “His own”, who is Jesus referring to?

Q. What could be the reason that “his own” did not receive him?

But as a gentle reminder, we are called to do what the world wouldn't.

Romans 12:2

2Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

 

"Doing onto others what you want others to do unto you" in context is about treating others the way we want others to treat us...

 

Sad but in context, it's not meant to be the other way around...

Meaning, treating other the way others have treated us (in a bad way).

It may be a "certain" passage in the bible which was taken too "seriously" plain over sensitive on the other receiving end.

no..pls read carefully what i wrote..what i mean is that i dun do bad things towards other people, doesn't mean that they won't do bad things towards me. i mean bad things..not good things..u do good things dun need ask for return one as u sincerely want to do it..wat i mean is i never go and disturb, bother or watever u call it, y ppl will come and attack me? but theres always these ppl who will go all out to destroy you just for their own selfish desires, although you never do anything bad towards them.
