Mito Riders

Yup there's a 2T reservoir on the Mito and, i presume present on all 2 stroke bikes. I don't think a 2 stroke engine can work without a 2T reservoir to supply 2T:cheeky:

Okay...do u put ur 2t oil into ur fuel tank also ? i know of some people who put a small amount into the fuel tank when tey pump petrol. is tt a good practice or just a stupid waste of oil?

I've heard of pple putting 2t into their petrol tank, stating that can improve performance. I put some 2t into my tank but like no diff in performance leh?

 

I've seen pple mixing it and use their body weight to shake their whole bike. For mito can just unclip the rubber thingy connecting the fuel tank and shake the tank:cheeky:

ppl put 2t into thier tank even when they use seperate lubrication is just to have backup incase they forgot to refill 2t and incase their 2t pump spoil, the premix2t in your tank can act as backup

not all hv....some use pre-mix...which means they onli pour 2t in to their fuel tank...like tt must shake ur bike evertime b4 u start...

i dun haf a 2T reservoir leh... cos the previous owner 'modified' a lot of things including the radiator.. so now i have to premix everytime i pump the petrol and shake the bike... which is kind of troublesome... cos everywhere i go i need to have 2T with me just in case i need to pump petrol...

For those on premix, Axxis gave me a neat tip that he uses for his KTM. Get those medical sample bottles or any other kind of container that has volume markings and is sufficient for the amount you plan to use. That way you can fill it up to just the right level for your planned mixture. If you get a bunch then you can store some in your bike/bag and don't have to carry the whole 2t container around.

 

So if say you add 50ml of 2t per full tank of petrol, just fill up the bottles to 50ml at home and just empty them into the tank when you top up.

as usual, nicks, names, and contact nos.. those who not riding or need ppl to pillon pls state so beside yr particulars and i try to arrange.. tks guys.. =)

 

date: 27.11.2005 sunday

time : 3pm

meeting venue : kallang kfc as usual..

where to : chill out either at kkfc or orchard parade hotel starbucks, then prob head down for steamboat at marina south like e other time..

(guys pls try to go along for dinner k, the other time so many had plans or "on a diet" dont wanna eat.. )

Wah the medicine bottle trick is really smart! Haha! And those are convenient to carry around too! If you haven't got a 2t reservoir, and when you suddenly run low on 2t, don't take your chances man! Quickly head to the nearest petrol station and get some. Got shitty 2t better than no 2t... Then can store a few medicine bottles in your backseat too

yeah the cough syrup bottles are good.. but. just something to add... must check the bottle by pressing it.. to see whether it leaks.. if not later ur bag become oil tank

hey, herbie is selling of alot of mito parts, why not ask him if he got 2t reservoir & pump up for sale?

but the bad thing is that u need to know how much 2t to mix with.. if not, sure alot of smoke..

premix would be very accurate how much 2t ratio compare to petrol whereas for 2t pump u can onli guess i wun be accurate but its more convenient.
