up to individual preference + budget, basically i find the sw motech box looks nicer. nice work there SuVespa !! :thumb: :angel:

 

I oso find the SW motech box nicer too

but the SW motech prices not so nice lor :angel:

hi all. congrates on ya trip up north and back.

 

however its a pleasure to see a motard-drz reaching thai too

 

just to enquire for the drz, any things to bring or look out for any getaway trip? im heading up north tmr but quite worried things to bring alon. previously head upnorth with a 600cc so no issue at all. but with my drz, it has much differences such like using tubes tyres, fren advise to bring along plugs..

 

so any advice guys? thanks..

Hi, I'm the guy riding the DRZ up. Basic things you need to do of course is to service your bike first. Like engine oil, plug, air filter, tyre etc.... For the trip, bring along

 

1) spare clutch cable (optional if your bike is new)

2) front and rear tube

3) Size 24 spanner to open the axle nuts

4) Tyre lever to ply open the tyre

5) Bottle to bring along spare fuel for just in case (especially if u are using the original tank)

6) Spark plug (CR8E)

 

As for the ride, you can maintain at 120kph~130kph. At 120kph, you'll get a estimation of 19km/l. So you can only last ard 190km max. For 130km, ard 17~18km/l. So do plan your fuel stop wisely. Otherwise the spare fuel is there to back you up.

 

I will suggest you listen to music or wear earplug while on the move. If not, you will feel heartache for hearing your engine scream all the way. Don't worry, the engine is very robust.
