yup, went there b4 to do my no plate.

it cost ard 18 to 20 if u wanna do the euro fonts on ur no. plate (not the embossed ones.)

done mine acrylic no. plate at Juzz Wheelz std white wording and black backgrd for $15 with installation... less den 30mins job done... if i dun remember wrongly adding bottom line wording is xtra $5.. not too sure abt border..

went to the ubi shop today...their pricing is quite scary..quote me $28 for border with words...(I remember I got it with front number plate for only $20 only for my old phantom)

before inspection, change back to old one lor...else you risk going back to inspection again...

so for acrylic its bascially plate holder + number ? is there any type of plate that r similar to car euro plate holder?

 

duno look nice on bike not but its nice on car.. but the cars one r legal or non legal if the font meet the requirment.

I was quoted $24 for front n back, acrylic with borders.

Borders just means a thin line of silver/white all round the edge of the number plate.

Wrong. Borders or words can be added as long as you dont affect whatever the typical requirements in terms of dimensions and free space away from the vehicle numbers are (plus right colour usage), with no profanities etc and not distracting away from the plate itself.

actually what I meant was, with the border, your font size will be smaller to accomodate the standard size of the number plate. I have check with the shops and they already confirm the font they use will be smaller, and on my old phantom, LTA specifically measure and ask me to change it and inspect again another day.

 

unless you are getting a bigger number plate than normal (but that might be more costly, or shops might not have the size?)....
