The best is to call up the various insurance companies and ask for a quotation.

If you want the cheapest insurance quotation, ask for the 3rd party insurance(without fire and theft).

there can only be 1 rider and 1 sub rider. unless ur insurance is company bike one den is ALL rider. lol

i'm asking on behalf of my friend , can you buy your own insurance for a bike that is under hire purchase? The shop quoted him $1300 for his 3rd party insurance for a 5 year old super 4 :faint: , my friend is 20 this year , and he is currently taking 2a. Is this amount normal? :?

When will i get my bike and license

Thanks for your input boys/girls well FYI i have already checked with most of the common insurance company before i posted the earlier thread.China and india insurance don't cover motorbike well at least that was what i was told by the clerk, Ntuc and mistui don't cover 3 named riders. Only AXA has this option but it's going to cost me more and this is something that i want to avoid if it's all possible. So if you guys/gals do know any other insurance company that has the same coverage as AXA do let me know ,thanks

With regards to buying your own insurance for a hired purchase bike i think Ntuc can overwrite other insurance company,I'm not sure if other company can do the same. I've done it before a few years back, i don't know whether the current policy still allows you to do such thing. But then again considering that your fren is still in his early twenties the difference in the cost may not be that much.Other factors that you might want to include are your friend's riding experience and the type of bike he's riding.
