i find that don't really need gear indicator. not really practical. 'feeling' whether you are in the right gear is more natural than looking at dashboard to see if in correct gear. and when i'm riding, i prefer to focus on the road than look down at the dash.. nothing much to see anyway. at most i may glance to check the speed and rpm. riding means must always look where you want to go.

any recommended EO? thinking of using OWS or Bel-Ray..

Just changed to Pennzoil fully synthetic. $20. Feels ok, definitely smoother.

Brought bike to HL to see if they can change EO. They too busy. Tell me come back in June. :faint:

But HL mechanic very surprised that Yamalube use only for 2600km become so rough.

I get the original Tyre specs for our bike already.

Front is 2.75 @ 80/90

Back is 90/90

So i think my tyres are over than that. I think stick to stock settings is the best.

Fyi. I just change my front tyre to 90/80 and back tyre to 110/70.

It is more stable as tyre is broader and not so high. Msia forum infd u can change till 120 but may affect the shaft but not confirm yet but the confirm thing is the oil consumption!!!!!!!

Cheapest tyre for this spec is $170 for both at Unique shop !

Never makes sense to buy a new bike in Singapore. Always buy used bikes.

aiya how can u compare s'pore and malaysia. here the coe alr a killer. tht piece of paper (COE) is sometimes even more ex than the car itself.

Haha. At last I think I will use this bike forever. Thanks dag for giving me trying yours? Erhemm i mean your bike with the low profile tyres. For the moment I think i would use this tyre a while before i change. This tyre soft compound so wear would be quite fast. Countdown would be ard 7 months more to go.

Hi Guys, need some clarifications here.. saw too many different stories liao...@.@ confuse to the max.

yamaha india website says both are air cooled engine?? but some say one of it is water cooled engine?

For singapore case both new fz 16 and fazer 150i looks the same right?thought there is difference on the suspension, handlebar, fz 16 is 4 stroke 2 valves vs fazer 150i 4 stroke 4 vavles which the latter is more fuel efficient??

Price difference? Both made in different place too right??

Despite the differences in both which is the better out of the two?(If there is more can add on..)

FZ16 and FZ150i different bike la .

Price difference? I think FZ150i cheaper than FZ16 cause FZ16 is latest model.

Better out of two? u mean better in what? Posture? Fuel efficient? Technology? Your question is not clear .

Anyone can confirm whether the standard tire is tubeless or not for the new 2010-2011 model? THanks

Should be tubeless already. First edition started out with tube tires. After that everyone mod to tubeless, the 2nd edition they come out tubeless le

Thanks for the confirmation. How to actually tell the difference from physical look?

You mean whether or not the tires are tube or tubeless? It should be stated on the tires itself. But whether a bike is 1st edition or the latest is about the headlight. The older model has round headlight, whereas newer one has diamond headlight, looks something like the fz16 headlight.

Personal preference for the round one. Looks like super4 from in front. Plus like I said, most bikers have changed to tubeless almost immediately after getting the bike
