Better think carefully bro...... later like me! Buy 6R keep dreaming of 10R. Was looking at a 10R dis morning. Buay tahan!!!! But then again........ buy 10R then think of 6R????? In anyway, the 6R is more than enuff on our roads and how many of us can push a 600cc 100%??? Even wif a very good rider i think at most 80%??? Unlike pro riders, crash got spare bike, no installment to pay, blah blah blah and the list goes on. We are all holding back arnt we?? Just my 2 cents worth. o_O

what u say partly is right lah bro... having a big bike is like having a commitment,u have to work hard enough to feed it.. or else u will suffer yourself with all the debt......as for me ,at first i love ZX6R but then came to think of it ,,ZX6R and SUPER FOUR doesn't make any diff...at last i make the decision to choose ZX10R instead.. the power is superb..and it is a collector's item...u don't see much about people riding ZX10R out there...sooo what i am trying to say here is that,, it's all up to u whether u can afford the your dream bike or just keep on dream about it ,,,(no offence) frankly speaking ,,,i do want to see my friend get what they want before they regret rest of their life for not getting it..

precisely why im holding on for sooo long... decision decision. there is a fine line between dream and reality. yes, i would want a 10r, but in life, there are also other commitments. i might get a 6r but still dream bout 10r but on the other hand i'm enjoying my life with ma girlie. poor man like me need to think b4 i display another rash and foolish manoveurve.

 

either bike i end up with, i cannot afford to change anymore, unless u see me jump up the corporate ladder like how a ninja drag on a straight. so.... patience is of the essence. :thumb:

Thou i get the 6R over the 10R is not of financially but level of skill. As u know by now, dis is my ever very FIRST bike in mmy life so i would not want to ride a bike tat is waaaaaay to powerful for me. Yes i still dream bout 10R but..... my 6R is already under use liow (ride 4 ~ 5 days per month) so no point getting a even more mean monster. But hope u get it soon maybe we go riding together yeah?

ima 24. am i young? think i quite old.. whether a 6r or 10r.. i'll be happie, cause it's green. plus my girlie agrees on green! yippie!!

 

yes. i agree on technical skills and power utilisation. i believe i can nv utilise full 100% of 6r. plus.. im kinda lacking of wrist discipline. a 6r would be gd enuff i guess. but we shall see, i need to work out something.

 

nonetheless, i bleed green and i continue to do so.

here is my 2 cents ...

 

i rode a the following kawas before (other makes of sportbikes which i owned before will not be mentioned) ...

 

1. ZX750L2

2. ZX9RB2

 

and current ZX636RB2 ...

 

and in my humble opinion based on my Ninjas experience ... the ZX636R is the best of all worlds ... its light with a great power to weight ratio ... its insurance & rd tax is cheaper than a full litre bike ... maintenance is slightly cheaper ... maybe only SGD20 cheaper but thats almost equivalent to 5 days of lunch for me ... lets not compare apple with pears ... but in the Ninja family ... the ZX636R is value for money buy ...

I too wanted to get my dream bike (ZX10R) but the insurance and road tax is a killer ... and at that time they was an offer for my current Ninja which I cant resist ... I took that opportunity and never regret it ...
