Bro, extra cc means extra horse power!! correct me if i'm wrong.

Not really. If porting and compression rate is done correctly a 600 can get more horse then a 636, the 05/06 636 has a evil twin if you all remember, the zx6rr, bore is the same but stroke is different therefore having a lesser displacement for the same engine and higher horse and power band.

 

Currently the 09 ninja 6r has est 120bhp stock on paper, and the 05/06 636 i had was only 110bhp stock.

It's depend on few more factor other than bore, stroke, port & compression setting, example we can change the F/R sprocket ratio for track or top end speed, stock exhaust usually have to change to after market pipe and it's header for more hp... and many more, anyway extra 36cc is better than nothing rite? would like to enquire about the amt of eo to put in with or without filter. just changed eo at unique, noticed they put in 3.8l(i tink) without changing my oil filter. after tt my gear changes were rough and hard to find neutral. argh. gearbox covered with carbon fibre, cnt check. btw im riding a 04 636. using ows eo.

I checked from Kawa manual stated 3.4l when oil filter not removed, 3.6l when filter removed and 4.0l when engine totally dry up, hope this can provide u some info. u can checked on the transperant mirror wether is over filled or not.

Currently riding zx636r 04 also.. E/oil changed from liquid moly(previous owner) to maxima extra 15/50, encountered engine ran cooler at 75c b/f change is 95c but when 1st gear engaged the 'tak' sound louder and pick up slightly slower, maximum speed not yet try:angel: next e/oil will use 10/40 recomended from kawa manual.

Hi to all ZX6R riders.. any of you fellow riding a zx6r 05/06 got a ohlins or GPR steering damper fixed on yr ride.... heard from lot's of guys that it makes the ride much stable... and prevent those scary tankslappers that we get time to time....

A. 08/09 ZX600 has more power to the 03/04 ZX636

B. 03/04 ZX636 is more powerful than my old 94 ZX9

C. Displacement is generally for more power & speed but technology has proved that power to weight ratio is more important

D. If after changing LO the bike characteristic change to worse its better to stick to the previous brand

E. Its safest to follow the manual because Factory dont like warranty claims

F. Race fairing can get at BT21

G. Race exhaust can get at BT21

H. For better prices at BT21 use the secret codeword - "Evo Sux!!!"

I. Steering Damper can get at BT21

J. WP Front and Rear Suspension can get at BT21

K. Shop Owner of BT21 is secretly eyeing on a ZX636

L. I am eyeing on BT21 shop ....
