i am pushing back to the workshop. the repair works are pathetic. Going to ask them to touch up on the repairs and re-spray. i paid a sum for it but the end product was not what i expected. theres a saying you pay for what i get, but the amt that i paid doesnt justify the workmanship done.

i am heading back down later after work to talk to the guy and will post pictures after i am satisfied with the product. if no service recovery is done i will post the areas that wasnt done well.

Got another option where they will polish, do up your bike and it will cost 6500

They quoted me 2 bike..

one = 6k

another = 5.5k

(both not done up)

transfer fee: 73

agreement : 90 (if take up installment)

for pricing wise, best is to call up CKA yourself, they can provide you with everything you need to know, just ask.

you can use the 'enquiry' function in CKA's website, there u get to ask for the best offer they can give :)

otherwise, head down to CKA HQ at kaki bukit, speak to Roy, he will be the best person to answer any enquiry that u may have regarding this bike.

if all the motordiam works like CKA, i think we dun have to worry too much when we bikers are sourcing for bikes/services, all transparent, no gimmicks, enjoyed my experiences with them so far :)

how about the insurance?

the better choice would be to head down to kaki bukit.

insurance wise, will have to see your age, no. of riding exp, bike, etc...

Posted

even for your insurance pricing, just ask CKA, tell them your age, riding experience and how 'old' is your license.

for myself 26 yrs old, 0 riding experience, 6 years license, is about 500 for a new bike.

and i helped my gf checked as well, 24yrs old, 3yrs license, is about 600.

u can check out the branches in midview, toh guan or jurong east. to sit on the bike and such.

but my personal experience is, i went to jurong east branch to look at the bike, when i wanna buy, i went to kaki bukit and look for Roy. though it's the same company, but somehow, the feeling is just different.

I do not know what went wrong in the communications, but branch told me downpayment is 20%, but at HQ is only 10% (i can only come up with low downpayment) thus... HQ is my choice.

CKA is quite transparent and often throws in some pleasant surprise as well :p

Due to my eagerness to get the bike, i actually forgot to ask about IU, free stuffs. when i am signing the agreement, Roy told me that the package includes everything i needed to ride on the road, road tax/insurance/IU/agreement fee and such was listed, and free helmet and bike cover. and when i said i'm

too lazy to put on the bike cover, he immediately ask me, then give u another helmet ok?

last week i wanna install rack and box, but i'm tight on budget, i ask for 2nd hand rack (new is $75) but was told that there are no 2nd hand at the moment, so i was prepared to pay that $75. After it is being installed, Roy then told me that, that was a 2nd hand that he managed to get, so in the end, i paid for only 1/2 the price!

it might be quite far, but it's definitely worth it to purchase from HQ. i can't exactly tell u how to go by public transport, what i did was, i took MRT to Eunos, then take cab ($4 only). but only for two times, first i went down to ask and pay the downpayment, 2nd time is to collect my bike~ after that, of course i rode my RwR to there kekeke

oh btw, bloodychamps (wads ur name ar? royston? divine told me once but i can't really recall sry), now my RwR de horn no longer beh beh liao, sounds like car's borr borr lols..

and to those who don't know, i'm Darren >.

oh.. today i went to the branch at jurong east st31 i saw the bike and i was like wow! awesome. so i tried and sat on the bike but sadly no test ride as he said no test bike to try..

but i like it just that i think i need to put a tank padding, so i told him i want it and i got a 1st hand while now promotion is 9.1k if not it's 9.8k then down payment was 20% and he got me a 2nd party fire and theft at only $1163 cos company cut $350, i was surprised and said ok sure..

i wanted to get black as i was thinking it's nicer with black when i install neon in the future, end up i took white and said i wan a white.. then he wrote down white. after awhile i called him (Mr Lee) i said i want to change to black he said ok sure, then i called my mum and told her i changed to black she got sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo fed up and fk me upside down.. so i called again and changed to blue.. then after 5mins i called again and said i want a red.. but mr lee was very patient with me.. he asked red? ok can, confirm ar? dun later call me and change again.. so i said ok confirm.. and he just hanged up the phone, i must have really pissed him off tho he was not bad.. plus his wife threw in a full face helmet for free instead of the normal helmet.. i'm collecting my red RwR tml.. cant wait for it!!!!!

I hope i can join the RwR riders club tho >.

oh ya i heard full tank can last 500km. is it true?

The sales guy told me to pump 98.. can i pump 95?

Is there any impt thing i should know too?
