In NSHW all the toll is free from JB to Thai. Go Thai no need visa if u singaporean. Depends on where u tour, if in Malaysia just simple stuff like clutch cable, clutch n brake lever, spark plug etc... and the rest just up to you...

Wah sian,I just did my second servicing at CKA,apparently my free servicing I still need to pay 27bucks each time. Then what the H*** is free servicing???Isn't 27bucks expensive? What do I pay for in a normal service...Also those of you who got your bikes before this year apparently have free engine oil package thrown into the deal.I have to pay for mine....Damn smoking hot..:( This bike is great but I've got a plan in mind to sell it off and get a 1yr old CBR125RR europe version coz I only pay like 4K all in.This bike I only started paying my 1st term of 150 for 48mths...which is $7680....oh man oh man Firestation wanna buy my bike?

Which CKA branch u all talking about that charge u high or cheat spark plug etc?

 

I think to be fair to them and do them some justice maybe I should tell you my experience.

 

When you buy the bike, u should have negotiate with them the package that come with free servicing one year. I believe it is a standard practice. So if you don't have that, then cannot kp that they charge you for servicing. Just bear in mind that alot alot of other brand bike, dun even come with free servicing.

 

If they do give you free servicing, do bear in mind that it meant free EO, filter, and those standard stuff they do for servicing (again, standard stuff is up to indvidual, some mech think only oil is standard, some think oil_filet... etc, but it's up to how you deal with them, its two-way relationship). If you want something better, eg. to add OWS engine protector etc it is of cos you need to pay for it yourself. I suspect alot of you guys here kp about they charge you this and that was because you actually did extra things in addition to your normal servicing. It's just ridiculous that if you demand for Iridium spark plug and then kp about they din give it free for you. In the first place why u need Iridium?

 

As for the ah pek that rode in but asked to pay $5. That is normal. Because CKA give priority to Daelim customer and they provide free servicing and think about it, they do not gain any money from us during free servicing. So, naturally they still have to survive by charging those walk-in customer right? Sometimes I can see they r too busy and even turn away other brand of bike too.

 

Perhaps when you guys talk about they charge you during "free servicing", pls be more specific about what are the things u did and add on during the servicing. It will be more fair to CKA.

 

I am just one of their customer and not related to them anyway. But somehow I see the thread can be misleading to the newbie out there.

 

All bike shop are same. If u r buddy buddy u can get more stuff and learn more things. But if you go in just kpkb and behave bossy or demanding or haolian or yaya papaya or mango salad then they will just give you some papaya salad.
