Ok fellow founders and committee,

 

The Kruzer Committee has agreed to purchase a GPS to further enable the recce team to look for new frontiers. This is crucial as the GPS helps us get back on track when the routes are not on may. Also maps do not give accurate location.

 

The Committee has allocated a budget of S$500. However, this sum is not enough as when I went to look for one, the GPS in this price range is not friendly to one hand operation and thus not suitable for us as riders. So thats when I came across this model that has buttons that enable one hand operation. However, the cost is way over the budget. The price with mounting bracket is S$950.

 

So this posting is to seek founders and committee that has use for the GPS to contribute to purchase the GPS.

 

The incentives for contributing is, you can can loan the GPS on your trip for free subject to availability and of course you are expected to be responsible for it just like its your own. Priority is given to recce team and of course first come first serve basis. I am suggesting S$100 per contributor to about 10 contributors max. We will have the list till Monday next week where we will decide if we go ahead to buy or not. We will go ahead to purchase when the list hits 5 and above.

 

Please bear in mind that the GPS will be property of Kruzer and you. Kruzer will rent the GPS out at a sum that will be decided by the committee. When we get back the money, we may decide to buy back the rights. This however will pretty much depend on the contributors desicion as a whole.
