How can it be restricted when it is powerless...???

They just remove the spd limiter to clear the 180km/h barrier....

Just ask them how much power they can yield if they remove the power cut...All

will tell nothing but funny things..

On paper Kawa 250 33bhp...154Kg dry weight---->.214 bhp per kg

on paper CB400 53bhp....194Kg dry weight----->0.273 bhp per kg

Hmm even there is some discrepancy...Is still not hard to guess who would be faster....

I don't think CB400 is around 194kg dry.

That should be the weight including petrol, engine oil, etc.

It should be around the 170kg region dry.

So the power to weight ratio differs even more. :D

Yup.Most probable the CB400 is more powerful than the ninja 250 on paper but i think i'll be going for the Ninja.I believe that kawasaki should be able to design an engine that may be a 250cc but with the technolgy that it has,it should be enough to make up for the lost in CC.Thanks a lot guys for your opinions.

Saw a guy riding the 250R just now.

On a closer look, it really looks very good.

Shiny Kawasaki green.

The machine price is 8.5k i heard.

i guess that is more than $3k off a brand new CB400?

It looks like a very fun and flickable bike to ride.

The good looks coupled with the low fuel consumption, i am willing to forgo the performance of the CB400. :thumb:

I am riding a 250 although I got class 2. Personally I prefer 250 over 400cc and above is due to the weight and seat height of the bike. I want a bike where I can land both my feet on the ground, and I want to be able to push the bike backwards while seating on it during parking.

Ultimately it still depends on your build and perference. In short, if you are getting a 250, be mentally prepare the you will probably not able to outrun a CB400 most of the time.
