Parking under void deck

Hi.. Would like to check with you guys anyone know how much the fine is for parking under the viod deck? and any chances of appealing for it?

Dude, depends on the different Town Councils. FYI, parking under void deck is under Town Council's purview.

 

Anyway, avoid parking there. The fines are incremental, meaning:

1st time - $100

2nd time - $200 and so forth....

 

You can appeal but likelihood is that you won't get a full waiver, only a reduction to perhaps $60-70...

Common areas like void deck, immediate pavement & walkways to blocks are under Town Council - Fine is incremental.

 

HDB driveways & carparks are under HDB, enforced by their own contractors (Premas, CISCO, etc) - Fine usually fixed at $100 for parking in driveway or improper lots.

 

Roadside pavement is under NEA, enforced by Police & Traffic Wardens - Fine is $70.

HDB/Town Council checks less often. Cisco checks everyday and all over SG. Parking under blocks might kenna u once every yr, depending on how 'on' ur council is, pavement can get u everyday.

incredible, u went till 3rd time n didnt' give up? over how long a period was that? with ur fine, u could pay parking for few yrs.

i was fined 100bucks by my town council. appeal say that time go buy food put into box den heavy rain so go into void deck to park 'a while'. reduced to $70..

Did you buy season parking? If yes, I think can be a valid reason. If always full, take picture and send to them. Coz without facts, cannot win easily leh.

I also feel like taking pictures and sending to them... they think their lots are enough when its not... my carpark also always full... then i park in carpark but on the no parking sign also kenna... if i kenna one more time, im gonna call in to complain liao... so many car lots for wad.. i mean, there isnt so many cars around lor!! then no lots i buy season for wad... and those carpark auntie wun even give chance... at least look around and see got lots anot wad... the more i say the more angry i get... zzz

I got 1 a few years ago...Didnt had season parking either...Went to Meet the MP session, blow some mambo jumbo reason and they ask me to get season parking for that month, photocopy to them and they waive off the fine..

my advise dun ever get involved wif the "void deck unit"i mean town council..once they caught u,it's not ur bike number is taken into their list,it's ur Nric number,even if u change bike or parking at another Void deck that is not under their area,it's still a consolidate offence.
