the expressway was having a little jam so i was riding slow.

 

i was about to exit amk ave 1 so i , signal left change lane..... (from 1st to 3rd lane)

 

10s after i was on the 3rd lane suddenly i saw police car flashing at me and ask me to stop

 

he told me while i was changing lane i cause a car jam break .... for my careless riding ..... he will summon me for $150 and deduct 6points , he told me i'll received me summon in 2weeks time.

 

i totally didnt notice about it, i was riding like 60km/h and i have signal and check blind spot ......

 

is it possible for me to appeal ???

i really dont think i did anything wrong (=___=)

If I am in your shoes and think I am not in the wrong, I would challenge it right to the end.

 

Even if the police did see the car jam his brakes, a warning or reminder should suffice, but an official summon? Totally uncalled for.

If you want to appeal i suggest you do it immediately...

if u wait for ur letter to come then it gives them more reason to ask why didn't u fight ur case sooner...

What chances? Its about the truth, you think small feel small they will treat you small.

 

Show that you have self respect, knows what you are talk about and policeman is just that, someone with a job, like the rest of us.

 

If it does ends up in a dispute, I think the police more things to do, more reports to write, more people to answer to. Whereas us, we can go home and watch TV.

 

And remember, we are never required to prove that we are innocent, they have to prove that we are guilty. Jamming brake, can be due to he was driving too fast, a few cars in front also brake, or he suddenly woke up coz he fell asleep!

First you said, 60km/h. Then you said, 80km/h. Which is the correct one ? This could really make you sound inconsistent and trying to make up a story. If i'm honest, you don't stand a chance if you take this story to the Traffic Policeman for appeal. You are suppose to be on the left most lane or at least be on the 2nd lane upon approaching your exit. If traffic was heavy as you mentioned, it is imperative that you be extra careful and plan your moves wisely.Take care.

Once they said prepare to receive letter from TP two weeks later meaning they already have your record by the next day, so you can actually call to check, tell them you feel that you're wrongly booked. Don't follow the way hui ge tok in money no enough 2 la, obviously if im the judge i oso pek cek fine him more haha

 

Tok nicely and explain ur situation and y u feel itZ unfair... usually most case they wont change the charges against u can... stop trying to scare him T_T unless you quarrel with them haha
