rode my old skool majesty 250 today.

was surprised how smooth this old bike is except wheni stop at traffic, sometimes the ignition cuts off when i am about to move off.

any idea why?

used to have this problem also occationally last time.. but dunoe wats wrong wif it. yesterday my majesty cannot start..now at the bike shop waiting for mech to check wats wrong... and worse of all my other bike battery flat now at the road side..... one time two bike break down i think i can buy toto /4 d liao

Heng ah....nothing much happen to both of your bike....your star still shinning brightly. My Majesty had gone through the major operation, now it's in the process of recuperating (sent for inspection and renewal of road tax)....next week can be on the road liao....anyone keen for kopi session ?..

kopi sure how bout sunday. my majesty is ok but my r1 look like big electrical problem . i suspect some electrical problem that cause the battery to run flat. the other day the starter motor keep activating.. think the starter button jam. so if i change new battery it will run flat soon again.. now waiting for pay day to send it to the bike shop

Even I took off the fairing of my Swing also can't do it.

 

BTW, it was noted in th last outing that in comparison bet. YP 400 & Swing 400, the former has a better fuel consumption.

If yrs is carburettor type, could be too much air b4 de petrol can comes in from de reservoir. Try turning the throttle slowly in de begining.

 

If yrs is Injector type, could be the petrol is too much b4 air comes in, clean de air filter.

 

Of course, de above is not de only possibilities. Always start wif de easiest and cheapest possiblities 1st.

just change my rear tire.. unfortunately the tire is too small for the wheel balancing machine... min size to do wheel balacing for that particular wheel balancing machine is 14" . however i also service the break pump and the brake stop bitting hopefully wif improve the feul consumption. already feel some changes in cornering

How was the majesty 400 (model 05)

Now a day its hard for me to choose those scooter all are very gd.

Example SilverWing 400, Burgman 400, Majesty 400.

 

How was the bike performance? Majesty 400

 

Advise needed, I dunno much bout scooter.

Hi all,

 

I have a couple of question. Hope you guy can help.

 

Where can make a duplicate key for the majesty 250?? I have tried the Hong Leong, nope they dont have it and they say cannot order as well (i cant believe this!!) and i tried the key maker shop at kitchener road they recommended, no luck too. I do not need the plastic thingy that open the keyhole, just the key... but this key is so long... and what they have are too short? I only have 1 key with me now... so i will definately have a headache if i lost it... so can someone help me out pls.... thanks

 

 

Secondly, the odometer sometimes show a Trip F, and it only appear once in a while. The manual is in jap so dont understand. Does anyone have any idea about it? Btw mine is a 02' model majesty.

Just back from 3NCR...it was a great event with almost 1000 bikes, e longest Convoy I had ever ride. will up load some pic in a few days time.

 

Brian... anytime just give me a buzz for kopi session...or U just post it here, so any one can come for the coffee session.

haven check the rectifier. cos no time to bring it to bike shop, however have charge the battery . As i installed the battery and tried starting the bike it start and smoke come out as i try to put back the sit (wich cover the battery compartment), quickly cut the ignition in time and found the IU wires caught fire, luckily stop the flame in time tat other wire was not burn. high chance its the IU connection causing the problem. Now i guess i know y those guy got burn to death on their bikes.
