i nvr installed myself b4... but i heard that the best method is to tap the voltmeter to the fuse box... but i duno which fuse box they trying to say... is it the fuse box near the battery or the fuse box near the side cowl, near the seat? not too sure...

but, i intend to do a little wire re-routing operation on my bike soon... maybe this dec or some weekends after my KL Fraser trip, after my new set of blinkers r in...

i got it at K&T... but last week when i called to check for my frn, Clifford says no stock for now...

but if u're looking for max performance voltmeters, there's a thread in MO do carry... but the difference is that you have to DIY lo... his price is the same as shops but shops install it for ya...

ok la... normal standard... but right now i duno if they tap it to my ignition wire or my pole light or fuse box... when i do my own wire re-routing operation later, i'll then know...

Yes,it's the best method as it is the nearest to the batt so will have better and more acurate. It's tap to the fuse at the side panel,if you tap from the fuse box near the batt,it will always be on.

 

$5 or $10? if they give me a good job done, i don mind. ^_^
