Look at your clutch adjuster and imagine that it's a bottle cap that you screw in and out.

Clockwise = screw in, clutch will feel slack, biting point goes in. You need to clutch in all the way to disengage.

Counter-clockwise = screw out. Your clutch lever will go outwards, biting point also goes out. U only need to pull it in a little bit to disengage the clutch.

Of course, don't adjust it too far out. I did it once to get a fingertip biting point, but the tension of the cable at the clucth casing end became too slack, and the entire cable dislodged from the clutch connector down there with a big *SNAP*.

I had to struggle at the roadside to reattach the clutch cable with my bare hands. LOL.

Your lever should feel springy somewhat. If it feels dead or loose like mine did after adjustment, it's time to change your clutch cable.

Thanks!!!! :thumb::thumb:

bro,

since u ask me... i jus comment my thoughts ah...

300km / 14L = 21.428571428571428571428571428571 km/L

ok wad... better than me and almost the same as most of the folks here...

mine is 285 km / 15.8L = 18.03797468354430379746835443038 km/L lo...

dun wish to frame anyone here or any salesman here but i would suggest dun bother trying to install/add wadever crap into your bike e.g octane booster or wadever balls or wadever electronic devices that said to enhance FC lo... cus they will not work for new bikes de...

i been these and tried these and know these... for our fz6 la...

all these kind of craps, i believe will only work (slightly only) for 5 years old bikes and above...

if u wan v v good FC hor... go get a pulsar or similiars... they are the masters of FC...

Yup, Normally OEM parts will be more ex then aftermarket parts.

FYI, OEM sliders cost 300+.

So its up to individual to buy OEM or aftermarket.

Different brands hav different shape, height and contour which deflects head wind differently. Most of them are somewhere ard the top of e mirror in height.

Been using Maxima 15w50 for my previous FZS1000 and the current FZ1.

Well, its not exactly cheap, but quite happy with it. With the old bike, it seems there's a roughness creeping in starting from the 4000km mark onwards.

For my current ride, I am sticking to a oil change every 5000km.

No problems such as difficulty is engaging gear, whatsoever though. :)
