how's the Y125Z handling? availablilty of the after market parts for this bike? Brakes,wheels,shocks etc?

 

Not a bad bike, rode my dad's. He bought it few weeks ago. still doing a 1000km run in for the bike..the original pipe is damn loud..pick up is fabulous..thought of buying one for commuting purposes after i ORD..

7000rpm at 110km/h. redline i think at 13000rpm...still can go up somemore.. malaysia got sell a bigger piston block..saw it once at one of the shop in malaysia.

a fully mod 125z can even beat a fully mod rxz..

not talking about the top speed..coz this bike sure clear meter if mod

correctly.and meter pin die at ard 185 km/hr.so ppl always disconnect the meter cable during testing..

go mod and lap with rxz..

coz 125z bike tech is more advance then a rxz..did u know just by doing small mod..u can easily clear meter for a 125z..

that's why i sell away my rxz and go for 125z.

yes bro..i did change the tyres. and rims..coz the stock rim and tyres don't make me feel confidence when come to corner and wet day..

haven't mod anything yet..just both of them..i plan to do it slowly..due to family commitment.

the next project i plan will be the engine parts mod.

Pricing, dunno la.. Guess, they'd answer redi. 'sport-rim', YES for SURE hav in M'sia- JB la; bcoz they've the more exclusive; or exp version tat some original with sport rims.

 

Not sure in Sg; shd hav oso; mayb will kena mod.

Dun mind where did you went to change your tyre and rims? price? And the model of the tyre, thanks. Will the sport rim affect the performance of the bike, in term of speed?

change rims in malasia..1.85x 17 85RM for 1 rim

and tyres using 90/80 bt39 battlax change in singapore.$65 for 1 tyres

sport rims is nice but no desire size for me..that's why i go for alloy rims.

why diff ppl say diff things about fuel consumption and speed one ? some say wave can hit 110km/h no problem some say cannot ....some say 160+ full tank some say 116km

Been riding 125z for almost 10 months now, bought it brand new (January 2003)...machine price 3.7k

 

Full tank..5.5litres

2T tank...1.2litres (got 2T light indicator for lazy dudes)

 

Fully stock engine/exhaust...my fuel consumption...27km / litre

and my 2T consumption...1300km / litre

 

Top speed..easily 140km/h...a slight downslope, 145-150km/h i've done

the shake is normal, as the bike is light, distribute your weight evenly and throttle away....
