Does that mean ur L/R selector must be switch on before you can switch on the hazard lights?

nope, at all times, if the hazard lights is switch on, it will override the L/R selector.

anyone knows where/who can do hazard + pilot lights for SP? lol. :D

for pilot lights, u hav to find bulb wif 2 filaments in it..

cos normal light bulb hav onli one

of cos the socket must fit in or u hav to change the whole signal casing/socket..

Pilot lights look good but require power. If your bike already have battery or charging related problems (like most CBR400s do), don't do pilot lights. You will regret it when you can't start your bike one morning. :nono: For kick-started bike like SP, there should be no problem.

maybe can warn the driver that a bike is stooping by the roadside..

i see a few times whereby drivers almost bang stationery stuff like cones for road works or the road work truck..

maybe hazard light can attract more attention to the road user..

**Project Hazard Lights**

pls refer to this picture while i explain:

http://img454.imageshack.us/img454/9481/hazardlightsag5.jpg

left red box is left signal, right red box is right signal

locate the positive wire for both signals

tap 2 wires each connecting to one positive signal wire

den connect to switch.

u get hazard light only when u signal left or right first, den on ur newly added switch.

:cheer:

although it is a simple and a low class form of hazard light, it still works well. signal left and slow down first den on hazard light :D total cost less den $5

No more regrets.

:good: for you to figure it out,

just some tips here.

be sure that your 'condenser' or 'blinker relay' can support hazard lights or it will get burn easily causing failure in your signal circuit. if you are unsure, i advise you to get one and replace your old condenser or keep one spare on your bike.

another tips is to change the switch to a DPST switch so that you can activate hazardlights without the need to turn on any signals 1st, even when signals are turn of, regardless of left or right, the hazardlights switch will override the turn signal.

->tap 2 wires each connecting to one positive signal wire

->connect to DPST switch

->from switch connect to condenser or blinker relay.

Greetings

I'm interested in putting up hazard light on my bike but is it true that we have to get a new relay that can sustain hazard light? i went to my bike shop and the mechanic told me only some relay can take up hazard light while others will eventually burn out cuz cannot sustain the current. Is this true? How much roughly a relay that can sustain hazard light cost?

Thanks in advance.
