planet is the best la.

I stay west side, i also go all the way there just to do things for my bike.

goes to show how good they are. simply because Ah Chong will NEVER chop you. I have that much faith in him. Been a customer for 2 years. some even longer can vouch also.

if however, you got emergency, i guess can go for Unique Motorsports at Toh Guan. but they don't really bother to attend to people riding a)kups or b)old bikes.

February 2011 - March 2012 = Phantom TA 200

March 2012 - August 2013 = Suzuki Impulse 400

Present = BMW (Bus, MRT, Walk)

How about unique motorsport at Toh Guan?

never tried, but heard some good reviews. I need to service my bike tmr as the front indicator lights are not working, and in my attempt to reconnect the wire, i might have shorted something, my battery like damn weak and if i dun throttle abit when stop at traffic light, engine may just die off.

I plan to check out planet motors first, if they not open, then ima try racewerks in AV, then followed by Unique maybe. Wanna try other shops see how.

They are alright, but sometimes they are a little sloppy.

Their pricing is a little higher than some shops, but at least, it is rather transparent.

I used to go to unique at toh guan, but once during a bad timing, damn packed with lots of big bikes around (im riding a honda wave). When i reach i sat on my bike waiting for someone to attend to me, while most of the salespersons were talking to each other. Then two more big bikes along, immediately get attended to. I just cant be bothered anymore with them. Just because I ride a kup, does that mean i should be treated differently? Just rode away after that and never come back. Your loss unique.

My previous owner buy from Ban Hong, and have regular service there and so I am thinking of going there for first service on this coming Friday but they say that they are only open until 2pm, so need to go there in the morning. Do any one of you know that what time the store open?

I tried Racewerkz. Good service attitude and fast servicing! Will go back again after another 2000 km for my half-yearly top servicing.

How frequent do we need to service? Once every 3000 Km or 2000Km. Just have my service today, spending $45(use the $22 engine oil).

What i heard is somewhat 'norm' is for 4strokes, every 3-5k they will change engine oil (and filter? not sure)

I ride SP, and my personal preference is every 3000 km i will do a engine oil change, even though in truth it only affects the gearbox. Cos engine lubrication is from 2T.

I heard that usually people do full top servicing every half a year, so that's what i'm doing also.
