when u put on ur rain coat, try stick ur finger into the gap between the collar and ur neck.... it should be snug but shouldn't strangle u~

another factor is when u velco up the strap of helmet inside den the helmet water drip in from the chin strap

by the way, the gortex is really good stuff. toughness and durability no need say. army stuffs sure good one. it can collect water like a reservior without seeping thru at all. and its also not very thick.. price... cost ard $150 for the top only. but got ppl selling cheap at garage sales and also, beach road sells them quite cheap too.

while training in australia during my army days

i tried the jacket to the limit

it can withstand at least 3 days non stop rain till it cannot take it and water seeps in bit by bit... so sway lo

reached australia rain non stop all the way til my training finish...

somemore due to my vocation i am out forever in the wild hiding somewhere...

i brought it to the limit in tawain. 4 days nagviation, 9 days outfield, ok leh.

 

or maybe too cold the water evaporates as it rains? haha... can't understand the weather there. but so much finer than sg's.

wintson you remember wat the name of the jacket call ... i heard from platoon seg ooi heng... they call it "God Mode" even there is mud on the seat once you wear it and sit down you don feel anything...
