hi all i wanna buy a LGV van but dont know which is a good brand in cordiance to power and pricing,,,

Fiat is quite a good one. Personally sit on the "Paranoma" model and find it quite cool, Why not include Honda, Suzuki, Mercedes & Toyota into the list?

To me i find Honda Acty quite ok. What really turns me on is the price.. it is going for about 30K plus only.. You might wanna take a look at the sgcarmart webby for more information about this van. Although it looks boxy but it is very spacious, more like a MPV rather than a Van to me. It is also similar to Suzuki Every.

 

Anyway, for van is it a must to be registered as commercial vehical? Can i buy juz normal COE? I know that if happen that we want to buy commercial vehical, we would have to register it under a company's name. Other than that is there any loop holes which we can go through?

commercial van have the privilege to use diesel engine at just ~$500 per yr of rd tax. If u want to register a diesel van as car plate, LTA will just tax u more only.

Fiat van- Doblo. (diesel 1.3/1.9). Car version is Panorama (petrol 1.4M)

Opel van- combo (diesel 1.7M or 1.3A). Very powerful, can feel the turbo charge pull.

It's too is very power with it's new turbo charged engine.

Not much problem since I ride it from the first day.

If you want, I can sell you mine. Now is about 1 and a half year's old.

Thinking of upgrading to car.

Im also checking out diesel alternatives, but hor, from the prices quoted here, not much diff from Picanto, so y not juz get picanto and zhng huh?
