I got my IU unit fixed at the side fairing below the throttle on my Spark 135.

When I went throught the ERP, it seem that it wasn't detected. My concern now is weather I will be fine $70 of not haven IU fixed or will I be sent a letter asking me to send it to have it checked???

ppl my advice to you get it fix rit yourself or your motor shop.

dont ever let those PPL at inspection center do it 4 you...PLSSS dont ....got my iu frm 1 of te inspec center ty fix fr me and test everything ok rit,until i rod my bike onto main rd all wires came out . frust man ty cut cable ties under my tank:slapforehead: .....every thing you ask ty say ok ok i know.

just go to any VICOM or INSPECTION CENTER

there's this centre piece of fairing juz right between yr legs

look for the screw for this fairing on the left hand side

its possible to attach the bracket (require some modification) to the screw (need to change to longer screw)

 

yeah.. dats my mechanic do for me.. mine was near d mirror.. and d welding wasnt strong enuff n d IU unit fell on my 2nd day of riding.. in d end mechanic put a bracket near d handlebar below there.. ahakz..

Hi all frens, recently my IU bracket was damaged due to a moron malaysian bike which park besides my bike and damaged it . I went to a few motor shops to enquire abt the short and stainless steel bracket for mounting on the side mirror and they all quote me from $20-$30:giddy: . Anyone knows the reasonable price for this as i personnally think that its too ex for a piece of metal. Also provide me the shop name and add. to get it. Thanks:P

i got quoted 100+ for a bracket that can be installed to place the IU behind the spark fairing.

 

=/ anybody know any cheaper place to do...

i Dont want to put the IU unit on the head.

but neither do i wanna put it with a long- ruler like bracket attached to the center fairing.

wan to put it attached to the side fairing below the left hand grip.

 

any suggestions how and where to do it?

if u wanna put it to the side ferring... i assume it will be facing upwards? so tell me how do u open up the cover and insert ur cash card?
