will there be more parts to maintenance for this kinda bike? Cos now got 1 more spare wheel need to change. More parts means more cost :giddy:

Think the only 'extra' cost will be have to change additional tyre... other than that it's almost like a normal bike.

And if compared to Class 2 bikes ,it may still be cheaper to maintain.

Even the smallest spark can start a massive forest fire...

according to what i know, the suspension system is maintainance-free.

but i might be wrong.

The obvious part is the extra tyre, brake pads to change, an additional brake disc and calliper to take care of.

but in theory, the front 2 tyres should wear slower due to the sharing of load by the 2 instead of 1 tyre. (lets rule out excessive cornering lah)

i might (if not, should) be wrong...correct me guys

If you look at bikes with double brake discs, then there is no extra brake disc/pad/calliper.

Only think is extra tyre, wheel bearing (which you don't change that often)

itz not really like dat...

or I would say ask an ang mo to eat curry n rice everyday...some might be able to adjust to the changes some might not

vespas survive in Asian countries pretty well, so does the old 2stroke makes like skipper n hexagon, some runners too...of coz ther r other models wif some design fault dat make using in Asian countries abit more hard to live wif like an example of the runner 06 vxr's water seeping into fuel tank problem, most newer 4stroke's famous water pump problem, mulitple switches goin spoil aft some hot and cold, wet n dry treatment kinda stuff.

i asked for the price of a 250cc black MP3 outside the bike shop next to universal yest.

it costs $11.9k w/o IU and w/o insurance. they claimed tat they have sold 2 units of 125cc mp3 which is sold at $11.2k, also w/o IU and w/o insurance. hmm... its around $13k OTR. for both

No more regrets.

(just to add on), moreover, wheel bearings are affordable, at most $20 a set (correct me if im wrong)

regarding the tyres, i reckon the rear tyre will wear out 2.5 times as fast as the front tyres.

No more regrets.

Yah! I'm more concerned about any engine/water pump-related reliability issues...

due to heavier weight behind, 2 wheels infront yet a wheel behind, auto, the drag, so i tink la, 2.5 times. (actually wanted to put 3 times)

coz usually, a bike's front wheel lasts 2 twice as long as the rear :cheeky:

No more regrets.
