Is there any place which sells this engine additive off the shelf? Correct me if i am wrong but changing the rollers and pumping 98 will prevent/solve the problems?

I just did 20K servicing from PSC. And the problem solved. I told them about the problem and they highlight that the engine stall easily is due to dirty throttle body, which is also what i heard from USA forums. But instead of dismantle your air filter, the mechanic told me that i can buy some liquid that can clean engine one... those that is for fuel injection.

Hi,

Anyone can advise me if I can book for a bike before I get my Class 2B?

Also, if anyone is selling their MP3 125, please let me know.

My contact is 8112 1501.

Thanks!

Jason

Anyone knows what are the 2 little lights in the headlight assembly that are constantly on called? Also, any options to change the colours of those 2 little lights? :p

is that true?? i always thought that you need licence to buy insurance...

Hah! Now that you mentioned it, ADH said the same to me when it was stalling at low speed previously, and also now when its backfiring on deceleration. Thought it's 2 separate issues? Can anyone recommend another knowledgeable MP3 workshop to get a second opinion?

I tried combing the ModernVespa forums too. Apparently backfiring on the 500 is quite common, especially when running in the bike initially or after the ECU is reset. Hopefully problem will go away after more mileage [cross finger].

Hi Dragonia,

if you still having the stalling issued. you should visit PSC and ask them to clean your throttle body. It totally solve my problem. I'm a happy MP3 rider now

You declare that u have a newly acquired license, say a week old to d insurance company. They will take ur declaration at face value, after all, claims cannot be made against insurance if u ride during d period of not having a license.

Hi all,

Im thinking of getting the fuoco but asp serangoon said they dun bring it here anymore so im looking at the 400 instead.

Anyways, i did go to several dealers asking abt the three wheelers. Unfortunately everyone, yeap every single one, have negative views of this bike. Quite disappointed to get such comments since im looking for something more stable and hassle-free and the mp3 fits perfectly in my research for a next scooter.

While im aware that safety is rather subjective to the individual, i believe that the vehicle should at least provide a certain degree of protection to the rider. Which my current scooter have repeatedly shown me the advantages of a scooter than a normal bike when it comes to falling and skidding. Been through a couple of times btw.

So my concern is whether the mp3 is realli tat bad as to wat the dealers are saying???

MP3 is a good bike, but the issue is built quality. Japanese bike has better built.

No bike is safe, it is the rider that determine safety.

Cool, thanks. I don't have any problem with stalling, just backfiring now. But will want to ask PSC to look through. Where is the shop BTW? Can pass the address or contact pls?

Cheers

alternative to Piaggio MP3 is PGO TR3. but you can't "cup corner" with it. however the rear wheels are equipped with a differential so it's stable around corner. 150CC only tho.

Piaggio is not really a trike in the sense that the bike can't stand on its own without the suspension lock. so u can still fall over. it is definitely more stable tho.

Everyone was a noob sumtimes.. and i'm one NOW

Last i called ADH, they no longer allow potential customers to test ride the MP3 anymore. See, touch but no ride.

They might as well close down. Already don't open after 6pm. Don't open on weekends, now can't test ride. I might as well see photo and website or loiter around HDBs carpark to touch MP3 bikes.... LOLs

A lady who answered said new models are offered for test ride in it's first 3 years of arrival in the local market. It passed 3 years since the mp3 was launched here so no test ride. Sorry, don't remember name of lady. Maybe you can call and ask again to verify?
