did u check you coolent level as in the reserve tank under the seat? did u try topping it up???

looks like there is no more coolant in ur radiator............not only urs, but i heard from a few rvf that coolant disappears after sometime,,,,,,,,,,,but no idea where it goes to

thank u for the grounding. the rpm feels alot better after 7k. its like this device added additional torque. pulls alot harder ar corners

aiyo....Paulau is right..there is somthing amiss with your Coolant system liao.

 

Check your MAIN rad for fluid level when bike is cold.....if u cant see any level of coolant in there...iz probably the coolant leaking off or evaporating off..which bring us to another simple thing....your rad cap! get one with the proper pressure rating (check haynes , cant remember)....also if yr rad cap rubber is worn or defective....hot coolant tend to relieve pressure thru the cap at a faster rate.....thus u get bubbling sound.

 

undo and check the cap 1st.....next check the area around yr bike parked overnite...see got suspicious leaks anot....it could be one of yoru hose burst liao (happens to all old machines)

 

lastly...good to flush sys once a year at least.

amba..1 quest.when u connect...where do u connect the ting to?the speedo cable or wat?my speedo cable is not working anymore.it broke liao..will it affect ur installation?

i just bought the speedos. it can be set to km/h. i didnt get to read ur message in time. sorry y2k.

it has got nothing to do with the orignal speedo cable, it uses magnet and sensor

hey..just wan to know some things..is it true that RVF lose to Aprilia RS250 in term of top end, pick up and handling??? i dunno..cos i heard quite a lot of comment on these 2 bikes...

yap...better check if any leakage lah....i had leakage problem on my old bike so beri hot all the time and I had to change the entire radiator on my FN bike last time.
