hello..

 

just had a skid just now at AMK.

 

traffic light just turned from amber to red. thought can just proceed cos not much time to slow down. my bad.

then spotted red light camera at the side.

 

to protect 12pts. had to jam brake.

when almost stopping, front gave way. skidded abit.

 

RHS fairing some scratches, RHS mirror gone, RHS balancer gone, RHS brake lever bended.

 

Myself. Thank God. Nothing except palm some slight swelling.

Thanks to one SP rider and one indian worker that came and ask if i'm alright.

Thank you my kind friend but it's ok, the enjoyment is to scratch(Peel) myself..Just like you orh pi sai, ownself orh more satisfying.. :angel:

sorry jus one qns guys..i encounter this prob after rewired the whole bike..nw ridin 100km/h-120km/h the bike starts to vibrate like abit noisy if throttle somemore the noise n vibrate gets more jia lat..wats the prob with this situation??..anyone knows?..jus went for full service and new batt,rectifier and wiring.. zz

hi everyone! great forum here on RVFs! Used to own one 7 to 8 years ago.... Its a FANTASTIC bike.... Good handling & stability & of course that unique V-4 engine whine when you rev the bike. However, its rather costly to maintain (spark plugs are expensive - $16SGD during my time) and electronic problems (esp. the rectifier & battery). Nevertheless, its still one of my favourite bikes until now. Some of the mods I used to have are K&N filter (mod using original filter), Dynojet kit & a modified original exhaust (cut open, removed the internal chambers & a straight-thru chamber - sounds great & "legal").

 

For those who are still riding RVFs now, take good care & maintenance of it coz you cant find another 400cc bike like the RVF. Its a rare gem of the 2A class bikes.

Ride safely to ride again another day

 

2000 - 2001 : Honda NSR150SP [Repsol Colour]

2001 - 2003 : Honda RVF400RT [Original Colour / Cabin Design]

2005 - 2009 : Honda CBR1000RR5 [Red/Silver/Blue / Red/Black]

2009 - Current : Honda CBR1000RR8 [Candy Red/Black]
