Cannot put the key in the keyhole coz the slot is blocked?

Can put in the key but cannot turn to unlock?

Cannot put in the key fully coz the keyway is jammed?

Bro... you got to be more specific so that people can understand your what the problem is before they can offer their help.

Sometimes spraying a lubricating light oil like WD40 can resolve the problem.

Did you try turning the key to unlock while applying pressure on the seat?

Sometimes its just that the rigging of the locking mechanism (the locking hook that engages the seat to lock) just need to be adjusted.

try putting lube on the key itself and then inserting the key into the hole and take it out repetitively, like your key is f*cking the keyhole. sorry for being blunt. but tts the best way i can describe it. then put more lube and do it again. i have the same problem as you, but for my ignition instead. everytime i park in the rain, water will seep into the keyhole and i cannot turn the key after a while. so i do what i described and voila its back to normal again.

Eh... how was solved?

You got problem..you asked.. all try and help.

Now you solve the problem... you keep quiet.

Later got someone with the same problem... all the questions start all over again.

In the end... nobody learnt anything from this section. Sigh.

Sounds familiar to me leh... I kena before.

Those of us who like to keep plastic bags or rags under the seat...you might want to check and make sure that the items do not work their way to the locking mechanism while you are riding... or face the same problem.:giddy:
