Revo Main Stand

Hi,Me just installed a main stand for my revo,very stable.Any revo owners interested?

My Spec 3 also just install. Not bad at all cos easy if you intend to wash/lube your chain. But just a friendly reminder, when conering with pillion do not go very low cos it will scrap your main stand for sure. I encounter it before when turning to car park with pillion.

I saw dat day unique selling it didnt ask ah, but no need any welding of brackets or anything right?? coz i notice under my bike got dis like ready-made brackets for a mainstand to go in

Yup,no need for any welding or anything.The mechanic will just install it into the disc like ready made holes under the bike

I dont understand why honda can't just add that small thing in i mean if people dont wanna use can remove it what. Its like already got holes to fit in why dont juz make the bike come with it =_=

 

Also bro its not very high of the ground ah i notice, the mainstand like very short ah juz up the bike abit only right?

stupid honda , i also feel tat honda should put the main stand for us , add in the price also , den we all no need look for shop to install for us , so ma fan .

wah $170 like kinda ex leh.. haha somemore sometimes i go quite low when conering haha later kena the main stand, accident more $$$ need to be spend haha..

Honestly it cost me around $130 nett with installation, install it at Unique motorsport. Can try check it out with Shawn or Kelvin if the price still apply the same.

It depend on the spec if not mistaken. As for mine Spec 3, just plug & play. Some Spec need some modification in order to install the main stand.

Can try check with bike shop first, if Spec 3 can, chances of spec 1 also able to fix. Maybe with some modification.

Bike manufacture don't really complete everything to one bike. That is why you notice bike A don't have what bike B is having. They will make us gian to go for better one. Ya very correct, it goes up abit only but your tire still able to spin without a problem. Your rear tire can go up higher if you bring down your front fork, just my 2 cents worth opinion.

Wah, you must be a racer i guess:) Well, with pillion for sure will scrap your main stand. Single rider depend on your weight.

Yup,it's not very high off the ground,initially i thought it was not stable,but after installing it,i tested it by putting it on the main stand and without sitting on the bike,stand behind and gave it a push,nothing happened.Under normal use,it should be ok

It's abt sometime since Boon Siew declares it OOP, as directed from Japan.

Been looking high & low for an OEM set too.

 

So far settle for a set from HKL, serving me well, but dont like the wobble when park & abit minor slanting to the 1 side.

 

If carefully looking ard, those early Spec III which has them on, the OEM sets, will have rubber stoppers, x1 mounted @ exhaust & x1 centre of the mainstand, also rubber sleeves covering the springs.

 

There's a of OEM couple of sets @ Mah, but seems like for Spec I or before, cos the shape's like those in driving centres.

But the setback, $400+ per set:dot:

I think will touch the foot rest first before your stand.that will be very low for a a corner already ya... ride safe.

Hahaha, i don't denied going low is shiok. Are you very sure that you consider yourself safety rider???

Hmmm, but that time i got pillion behind it really scrap my main stand. Because of the weight, it press the main stand lower, so when you corner the main stand able to reach the road. Speaking of genuine experience. Hahaha, ride safe everyone, especially those with main stand fix on their S4
