My rpm 5 is at 80km/h.. hmmm does dat mean mine has got a prob too? Tot its normal wat?

Anyone know what the prob ?

 

My meterlight, signal light and horn suddenly stop function when i am riding halfway, but the headlight is still working and the bike still can be start with the electric starter. Anyone here know what had cause this to happen ? Is it any part spoil ?

Hi all

 

My bike is making funny sound recently. Not sure where it comes from. But the sound quite obvious. 'ek or' sound..like those sound when u jump on a old spring bed. Anybody have this problem b4? Know what cause this sound?

maybe is ur suspension??

push ur bike.. n c got that kind of sound again onot...

if there is no sound.. then maybe is ur suspension ba.. if got sound.. try to find out coming from where....

 

not so sure oso..

hope others can help you...

 

btw guys...

my bike rite.. today afternoon i start my bike... the fuel c*** was switched to off position.. i start the bike le then push to on position..

however, the bike suddenly die off... then no matter how i try oso won't start at all.. the electric start still got make those "Hissss" sound n crack.. but cannot start at all.. the rpm juz won't raise..

btw, the bike was at idling rate of 1k when it suddenly die off....

 

then i kept trying for 15min.. then finally it start again..

may i know what actually happen to the bike??

issiz there is no fuel going into the engine or what?

or issiz carbon starter need to change liao le??

Need some advise!

I riding a vtec 2 bike for 2 yrs ++ and the mileage is abt 65000Km.Recently have this problem:

Ride on highway, bike can only acheived 80km/h with full throttle. can feel engine sounds different. When I closed and opened throttle when speed 80, the engine dies off. Kindly share some pointers and advise.

FYI:

Have change the engine oil +oil filter +spark plugs + battery.

maybe it's the air filter or carb issue?

I have go check and found the Plugs r bad. Have replaced all 4. Try on CTE n able to ram till 120 with valve open. Now, sometimes feel like the bike is choke when ram at 120 ( a bit jerk back) but throttle still can open . Heard fm friends that the throttle open /closed will regulate a device( don wat it call) to opens or closed. Maybe is due to that...... does anyone have ideas.

haha... same as mi previously...

my die liao can't even start for a short while... then ok after a rest.

like those old bike... when for carb service then ok... nothing wrong with plug cos just change that time...

worse when raining day...

 

you may want to give your carb a service if you had not done it at all...

Eventhough the spark plugs are new, at times its faulty. Ask your mechanic to check the plug's fire one by one. its should show bluish, not yellowish or reddish.

I had experienced the similar problem previously right after I change my bike's plugs.Only to identified and resolved the problem after 1500km otr. Gave my mechanic and me real headache.

Otherwise u should check ur coil.:goodluck:

my bike recently became like laggy , after i open throttle the power come quite late.

feeling like choke like that. and my whole bike feel abit stiff. when i rev it at neutral, the rpm is very responsive, idling ard 1.1 to 1.3 but the sound like abit not right lei.

 

i hav chged eo + spark plug.

 

any1 experience this prob b4 or know wat is wrong wif my bike? :(

 

Btw im riding a spec 1.

air filter lor... cos air oso plays a part in the combustion process wat... right??:smile:

Just changed the plugs ( blacken after 2 weeks) again .... problem not sloved. does anyone know wat can cause thje plugs to blow, besides servcing the carb.

For our bikes, serving twice a year shoud b sufficient. ( have mine on Jan).

Any recommendations of good motordiam???

just curious, can anybody tell me whether any issue will arise if i turn on my fan (i got a manual switch to my fan) while on the move? Besides the faster wear and tear to the fan? Is it ok to turn on the fan while on the go?

Bro..in e 1st plaze...y u need a manual switch for ur fan? Is ur thermoswitch not in working order? N if ur using e manual switch, u wont be able to gauge when its time to ON..btw..normal functioning of e fan is tat when on e move normally e fan OFF...its advisable to hav ur thermoswitch replace bro.. :thumb:

well yes.. i think my thermostat is not functioning.. The manual switch is a temporary solution as my bike's COE is ending this november.. Unsure whether to renew or change to new bike, so don't really wana spend the money to fix the thermostat if it's non-crucial..

my spec 2 also have this problem but only happen during my first gear.

but my air fitter change liao. :weep:

Guys, Did ur all have this problem, when i start my engine especially on the morning, my engine got this ' tick tick ' sound. After hot liao, the sound disappear liao ? Is it normal ? Or it is time for valve clearance ? Plus my FC damn high leh. I open a few time VTEC, 220km my reserve ON liao . My endcan a bit tong de. Wht the problem that cause?

 

If i change a few set of sparks plug and K&N air fliter, will it improve my FC ?

Btw i riding a SPEC II. Appreciate if your all would advise me, thanks :sweat:

wah spec2 also have "tick tick tick"

and i thought my VerS ticks are bad enough.

i do nothing about it. FC still then same. just tat the sound may be disturbing. :smile:

hey guys, i jus change my air filter to KNN air filter today. before that my bike is tip top condition tuning all normal. but after changing. the power like decrease lei..

 

i suspect that the air/fuel combustion is not tune correctly. is there such a thing ?

cos even the exhaust smell not right.. now smell like got abit of burning thing. suspect air more than fuel. tats why lack in power. or issit i tink too much?

 

if really got such a theory, go where to tune? can be diy simple job ? :help: :sorry: :bounce:

Hi bros... i have a problem now

 

my bike got some thing that is vibration/thud thud thud feeling coming from the foot pedal area... when i accelerate... but when i close throttle , i cannot feel the vibration thing....

anybody knows how to check for faulty trottle cable? What are the symptons and effect of one?
