How do I lay up a bike...

If I wanted to buy a Cl 2 bike, but not start riding it right away, probably to start in 6 months, what is the procedure to lay the bike up at my house or my friends? I tried searching the forum, but didn't hit any links. Would greatly appreciate any information from the other forum members, or a link to where I can find it. Thanks!

Erm... I hope you have a valid cl2 license in the first place

have been asked before.. you need to go lta office to apply for lay up.. prepare the bike documents, go lta 2nd floor and say you want the lay up application form.. fill it up.. pay $5 and you are done.. tow the bike if its not already there.. remember to pay for your season parking if lay up place is at hdb car park..
