Believed FBxx plated Strommers have less driveablilty issues but well again, something extra for all to read...

I had replaced my TPS (Throttle position Sensor), there's a need to check ur bike to ensure the TPS adjustments are in.

1) Use a jumper, short the connector under your seat. It will bring you to the dealer mode on ur meter. The correct indication will be -C00, the "- " should be at the middle during idling @ 1200 rpm. C00, indicates no error code

2) Gradually throttle up, based on service manual, the "-" middle guage should raised to the top ard 1.5-1.6 rpm. Even for some newer model FBxxx strom, the guage raised ard 3-5 rpm. Its a sign, that TPS need to be adjusted.

3) Getting the my TPS adjusted, it solved some of my driveability issues. The throttle response is good now, less surging or glitches. Smpother and more responsive throttle.

Rememebered one fellow rider, shared e same, " stalling afetr long distance ride".. Maybe bro u can check out the indication on ur dealer mode for any tell-tale signs.

Its always good to have a rountine check on the dealer mode once in a while during ur bike wash. And make sure everything is alright...

will try to do it...

@PapaBread,

i was having thoughts in getting 45l big explorer side panniers.. One of the concern, will be sg traffic. The bike might be less mobile with those two big balls. But after following Papa Bread at his rear, watchinh him shaking his GSA ass left and right throu the jam. I'm giving Hecpo explorer side box a 2nd thoughts. ^^

Your panniers' rack will play a big part in squeezing, not the panniers themselves i feel. If u look closely at the picture below, my rack brings the panniers close to the bike. Hence, i judge by using my handlebar. The width of my handlebar = width of the panniers.

U can try, and i believe u will still be able to squeeze still.

So where do we head for next ride? I think most of us can afford short trip only. unless planned in advance.....

I was thinking of going splashing in the water in this hot weather. Probably go up to Belumut Waterfall.

Hey bro..... You selling your AT ? Just to point out that you might consider swapping your v storm handlebar from the stock to AT handle bar. For a big size person like me, I find the stock handle bar to short and opt for AT handle bar which is longer.

Just 2 cents worth :cheeky:

Well i have the renthal bar with crossbar for sale. Similar to AT bars and comes with all the correct holes to accept the vstrom switches...80 bucks only...
