personally felt that vstrom drivablilties relies on throttle body alot. Next strommer going for a Throttle body sevicing. Recommended to do a TBS, ask them check on ur STP( secondary throttle sensor) within the required resistance using a meter, and also a TPS check. Full spec can be found in manual...

 

Bro did u go to shop to adjust the TPS adjustment or can u do it yourself??? I'm trying to figure how to adjust the STP when "-" is not align but VSRI not showing any pic... Anyone has the procedure(with pics) to the this?? Arigato...

 

P.s - Me no have manual to refer...

Yo Strommers! I just wanna share some things with you guys. Hope it helps.

 

I just did my full servicing at KnT. Overall, I am happy to throw my money.

 

1. Flushing and Changing engine oil >>> I am using OWS system. Superbz. Personally, I felt that I prefer OWS compared to Maxima. Smoother and less nosiy.

I have the manual for STP adjustment. if u r anywhere near hougang, let me know. Can show u.

Anyone ever do valve clearance? Mine reaching 50k any moment...any experience it willing to share...

 

Can do tappet clearance and shim together. There's a specific mesurment for shim replacement, my bike shop did without manual. I'm not sure whether he got e correct measurement. But b4 and after valve clearance, performance wise, no drastic change, but a sliencer engine.

Guys...Changing to 15/45...I only felt the difference this morning...As expected, it took quite a while for the bike to pick up to over-take...compared to 15/47....As for pump kit...the O-ring expanded till it is not O-ring...So got it replaced....Other than that...I have no qualms...Maybe next week...need to heed advice from you guys about the throttle sensors...

So is smaller sprocket meant for distance.....?? I mean does total distance coverage goes further with the smaller sprocket on the Wee compare to the the original sprocket size ??
