#69 DR-Z400SM Which is Riding by Ryuta.

Getting Ready to Test New Break system at Tuas this coming sunday.

 

difficult to find good break system for DR-Z400SM

coz the original break mounting making broblem .

 

but Motovation made the great Break Caliper mounting .

so finaly i can fit good Caliper and Disk.

 

this new break kit working great

the break system is still on develop

 

caliper: this caliper set deep inside . but did not tuch to spork

coz this caliper is so compact. it same as Super bike Caliper

 

Caliper: Braking AF4701

Last generation radial forged monolitic caliper, Ø 32/36mm pistons. Ligther than the 2007 MY. Left hand application. 108mm bolt pattern, 22,5mm offset.

 

Disk : Braking Wave Ø320

STX55D

Dimension: 320,0 x 118,0

 

Caliper support : custam made

i test this few day. it great results. smoos contlorable. and soooo strong stopping power.

 

the break pad tuch to Disk 100 pearsent.

 

thsi is great mod.

 

we will test this coming sunday at tuas. see the results.

coz of this bit of machined metal. many DR-Z400SM owner cant fix good caliper & disc.

 

in the world no one make this kind of caliper support. it was,,

 

so me too i try find caliper support. but all of kit do not work 100 pearsent..

 

finaly i can fix good Caliper & Disk. coz of this abit of machined metal.

i use back out side tube for protect Racing break Line

that whay looks like OEM hose.

i mean this bike using Racing break line front and rear

 

maybe,, for looks is better take out this out side protect tube to show the racing Break line..

 

but this bike need use for race at Tuas. so especialy when fall down, if this Racing break line got damage, cant go back race anymore. i mean cant aim for the goal

so use back this OEM out side hose protecter will be help in case fall down.

 

so when you see the this my photo full image . you can see banjo pipe from caliper.

compare with other orizinal Break line's banjo is diffalens with my one.

 

so if you guy got time to go Tuas this coming sunday. you can see this bike. how mod with all of parts. looks like stock standerd bike.. but this bike's set up is purely　racing bike.

but this time we just test with this break system,,, not looking for better timing. we need to know how this kit works with track. and Ryuta need to know how to use this break system for safe and clock more fast.

our bike has " Tubeless kit"

inside of Tyre is no more Tube.

so we can use Low pressure as well.

we set pressure by "Kg/cm"

 

the Michelin is i use back tyre..

 

i keep my front tyre. for test.

 

Rast Race we use : pirelli tyre F 120 (SC1)Diablo R: 160 dragon Pro

 

on the track

F: 1.55kg/cm(22.04psi) ,

R: 1.65kg/cm(3.46psi)

this is after wormup when hot temp.

 

on cold : F: 1.40kg/cm(19.91psi) R: 1.35kg/cm(19.20psi)

 

so, this Track day ,we use pirelli tyre

Front: Diablo corsa SC 1 (size 120/70)

rear : Diablo corsa SC 1 or SC2 (size 160/60)

 

race day also we will use Pirelli tyre

 

 

if u wanna use michelin power race soft front & Rear. is

 

on the Track

F: 1.6kg/cm~1.7kg/cm (22.75psi~24.18)

R:1.6kg/cm~1.7kg/cm (22.75psi~24.18)

this is after wormup when hot temp.

 

on cold,, maybe F: 1.5kg/cm(21.33psi) , R: 1.4kg/cm(19.91psi)

 

but this is Riding by Ryuta. he push hard,,so this setup is after warm up hardry.

 

well, tyre pressure is we set by tyre Surface condition and depending on handring condition,,,

 

our suspention set up is just stock standerd .

i mean Manufactur origin setup.

which you can find from Owner's manual.

the Ryuta body Weight is 63Kg,

so just nice.

 

you guy can see what tyre we use on race and condition of tyre after the race.

 

he lap more than 60 laps by race day. and before race day we test this tyre alound 50 laps.

so total is alound 100 laps.

 

pirelli tyre working Great at racing and last soo long.

 

still rear Tyre is looks new.

Hey there, I have a tokico radial brake caliper but dosent have the bracket,planning to fit it on my cub, so where can i custom make the bracket?
