hmmmm dat one abit leceh...gotta tape up lotsa things. N one more thing to ensure successful spraying is the thorough washing n sanding...make sure absolutely free from water, soap, oil, wax etc. so abit hard to wash n dry properly if the rims r still stuck to ur bike...maybe can get someone to help u take out the wheels bro...not that difficult really!

basically what muz i do if i wan to spray my bike? like the procedure..

Take out the part u wanna spray....wet it n use sand paper to smooth out the surface, make sure all even no depressions or scratches or bumps etc. Best to remove all of the old paint, can be done by sanding too (slowly do hahhh :p) After that wash THOROUGLY with soap n water, make sure no oil, dirt, wax etc. Dry completely den ur ready to spray! The best is spray when there strong sunlight...spray den st8 away put in the sun to dry. Then spray again....2 or 3 coats should be fine. If no sun then if u have a strong spotlight or hair dryer would be good too. Not advisable to just spray n let it dry without heat. GD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!

which type of sandpaper the best to use?

there are variety types of sandpapers in the market..

dont buy brown papers.. those merely for woods..

buy those black sandpapers.. for metals..plastics..

different grades for different degree of smoothness..

higher numbers..1000cw more smooth..

what i usually do.. use rougher 1st let say 500 cw to get rid bigger scratches.. follow by 800.. then 1000..

sanding is required only when ure fairing has deep scratch marks or fine scratches.. that's where u need to get putty to fill up the cracks, sand to balance it so it dosent pop up wif the remaining parts of fairing

then sand the whole thing to make it smooth..

then you gotta wash and sand wash and sand.. from rough to fine..

until u get the perfect smooth finish u wan.. den u start to spray layer by layer..

make sure it's thoroughly dry not touch dry (5-10mins).. leave it at least 30-60mins before u spray next layer.. make sure the place is airy but not dusty.. if not your fairing will be dirty..

i have used a handheld sanding machine to sand my belly pan.. but its quite uneven..
