After almost 3 months riding Atlantic feel very comfortable riding it although the speed is limited (never even bother to try the top speed cos it just wobble too much at high speed liao) Think will ride it for quite a while before i sell it away, but the depreciation rate of Altantic is the only downside that makes me feel the pinch...

Hey got any ideas to solve the follow problem that i encountered during this few months?

1) Even the handle bar starts shaking at 100km/hr (change balancer?? where to get a decent one?)

2)Although i am standing 1.77m but then i still have to tip toe at red lights lol... the cushion on the seats is just too high. :faint:

3) After many hours never run the bike when i start it will just die off... have to rev slightly to prevent it from dieing off?? (dont know why like that)

Other than these problems i really enjoy riding Altantic 200 smooth and cheap... Especially love the compartments that it provides... Got hook to it liao.. Think very hard to change to bikes without boxes liao.. haha

lol :bouncefire:

Cheers!!

Newbie Atlantic Rider here. I bought my bike 2nd hand and have been riding for 4mths plus now.

Recently, I realise there droplets of oil leaking from the bottom everyday. I checked the oil level daily and there's no significant drop.

anyone experience this before? Do I need to send it for repair ASAP? Is the small oil leak common?

hi, you should look around your bike to see what part is wet just after you park it. that should give you a clue as to which part is the problem.

perhaps it's your brake fluid, if you can see that the housing of the brake pad is wet. check the brake fluid level gauges, and press and release your brakes to feel how much they take to engage. if your brake free play is increasing daily, then it's your brake fluid leaking.

Hi,

regarding aprilla seats, when i first bought it, i straight away thought of changing it. It's too uncomfortable to have to tip toe whenever i'm stopping. And i'm only 1.65m. But now quite gotten use to it..

another thing i need to check with you guys is the vibration of the bike. I find that the vibration is a little too strong. Is there anything i can do to reduce the vibration?

I do not really have any problem with the Vibrations. when I do get it,it's telling me that it's time for an oil change. You might want ot have your bike serviced and checked.Could be other problems in your bike....( Hope not... touch wood.)
