the fuel consumption of 1200 is around 11-12km per liter and the Tank is 14-15 liter

the low fuel light comes out at 5 liter of remaining fuel in tank.

the tank of 750 is smaller, and the fuel consumption should be around 12-13km/l

gosh, thats really one heck of a thirsty bike. perhaps also depends on how throttle-happy the rider is?

my bike till now is still 530km. so still have not finish engine run in.

I never go pass 4000-5000rpm. bike max RPM around 12000rpm

and 120++km is the max before the fueling light appears.

so imagine me throttle pass 8000rpm , the fuel comsumption will be much much higher

I met a Aprilia owner in the office carpark this morning. He owns a Tuono which I see him riding every day.

Starting asking him about his Aprilia. He said he services it at Mah since it is still under warranty.

He said it is one of the best bikes he had ridden, he also owns a ducati for weekend rides.

When asked about the fuel consumption, he cringed and said with a 17 litre tank, he could barely manage 200km.

So... I think I will strike the Dorso off my list...

FC wise I can get about 140km to 150km before reserve lights up.. Pump ard 8L of petrol. So dats abt 17-18km/l. My bike is stock but ive never reach lower then 15km/l for FC. While the small tank may not be great for touring, its enough for city riding, albeit u have to top up your tank within 2-3 days. Looks-wise there are countless where the bike became a conversation starter while at the traffic lights. Down side is being an italian stallion parts might not be readily available and cost more den jap ones.
