I'm organizing an off-road trip to Endau Rompin(Selai), Johor National Park this weekend on 21-22 Feb 09.

Meet : GP Petronas @0800hrs on 21/2/09

Distance : 170km from GP to Endau-Rompin (Selai)Lubuk Merekek, to exit at Yong Peng

Traavelling Speed : At least able to go 110km/hr on NSE – All class are welcome! However advice on FC!!!

Cost : S$118 nett only.

Package:

Compulsory fees include admission fee to the Park, bike permit, camping site and local insurance by Johor N'tl Park.

Visiting Certificate, Ranger Service and Safety cum Back-Up Vehicle (load-free ride), bike wash and NTUC Travel Insurance.

Meals: Full board while in Selai

21/2- Lunch, Tea, BBQ Dinner, Supper

22/2- Breakfast and Lunch

Itinerary:

21/2 Saturday

0800 - Meet at GP Petronas & Briefing.

0845 - Head towards NSE to exit 242(South) Yong Peng then ride to Bekok town to N'tl Park Office. Light brunch on Own Account

1100 - Off-road thrill begins. Journey to Lubuk Merekek Camp Site.

1230 - Free to explore or simply chill and enjoy the river & the fresh air. (Fishing permit RM20.)

1800 - BBQ Dinner.

2200 - Supper

22/2 Sunday

0800 - 2hrs hike to Taka Tinggi (WaterFall) which is Highlight of Selai.

1300 - Lunch at campsite.

1400 - Ride back to GP Town for Bike Wash.

 

 

RSVP by 18/2 Wednesday at 2359hrs.

Pillions are also welcome to join e ride.

at the current situation considering the wet weather...the conditions are not favourable for most bikes to go in....

need to wait till the wet season is over...

Sorry, the ride is off.

Weather is not on our side at the moment. Will be better once the hot season comes back.

endau rompin has nice bends to negotiate for sportsbike riders to blast their throttle
