Suspension havoc

I'm using makida gold suspension for my RXZ. The problem is, the rubber 'O' ring at the end of it is torn and worn out. Now the suspension is loose and not fitted tightly on to my swing arm. Any one knows where to get that rubber 'O' rings? I don't want to change my suspension.

my fren told me there is a shop specialise in o-ring somewhere near kelantan lane, maybe you want to search it out bro. it should be the shops behind DSC clinic.

Do let us know the outcome of your search, my suspension's (cheapo suspensions) o-ring also worn out...

my point of view.

TS put it under the WHY PAY MORE topic. so basically he is trying to source out for it. why donate extra $$$ to the place he got the suspension from?

tat piece of rubber o-ring surely much more cheaper from the mechanic labor charge.

 

TS since its loose at the swing arm and suspension area right now. maybe u wanna check did tat actually damage your swing arm bush as well??

The swingarm bushing? You mean the steel rod which is supposed to be inside the O ring and connected by the big but right? Not too damaged but have to go extra extra slow on humps. If not can hear some TAD sound coming from there.... I got this suspension long ago from a shop in JB

Bro pendek recommended shop. I still love my suspension. Even if it spoilt, i will spend money rebuilding it rather than replacing it....

the swing arm bushing is the part which is near the joining of the frame and swing arm, to test it out put ur bike to mainstand and then see whether your tyres got free play when you push your tyre left and right. if it can then your bush is damage.

 

makida bronze suspension cannot be rebuilt. asked around alot of shops and they said it can't be done at all. so if damage pratically have to buy a new one to replace it.
