Anyway, I was interested in going there with my touring buddy who is riding a Kawa Kipps. He is still pending on his decision to go... so I am putting my name in first... whether he is going or not, I am 90% going.

Answer: Yes, reason is to prevent long waiting time, and also to save $$$ if bike break down.

For those who had always travel up north may want to help to add about the costing if bike break down any where in NSHW.

it is to prevent wasting time to wait for back up. some other delays like early exit on NSHW, overshot planned R&R & etc.... will also also contribute into delaying the whole body. before we move out for this trip we will ensure everyone well informed.

Ok, just confirmed with my friend YK. He will be joining the trip as well. I'll take a room myself and he will have his room himself too. Have changed to position 30 becos I'll be taking room 30.

Take note, my friend is riding a small fuel tank bike about 8-10 litre only, but definitely able to travel above 120km/h. Please advise if he is able to go along. See that a lot of us are riding at least class 2a bike... just worried that he might slow down the convoy. Thanks.

Or just inform the organisers what the likely range of your friend's bike before near empty.

Noted that. I just remembered that he told me that he has traveled to Thailand before and according to him, he did brought a spare fuel container last time. So I will suggest to him to bring it along for this trip. Cheers.

My friend's bike is Kawa Kipps 1500cc ... opps .. I mean 150cc .. haha.

According to him, he can sustain longer mileage when traveling around 100-130km/h. But his bike can go max speed of 160km/h, which he usually will on NSH. If I am not wrong ... his mileage should be around 200km max before running out of gas. If coupled with spare fuel container... should be able to push further, so shouldn't be a problem for him to go. He has been to Thai once, so he is more experienced in his bike... I will try to get him here to talk about his bike limitation.

Zamani should know him becos he followed us to the Maleka Famosa paintball ... remember that there was this Kawa Kipps which ran out of fuel ... hahaha

Anyway, look forward to this trip ... wooohooo... it's my virgin ride to Thai... hur hur hur ... next destination Cambodia... hahaha... just kidding.
