can ride at carpark?

can. but if got caught, license gone + fine o_O.

heard penalty fine is quite heavy because riding a machine w/o rd tax and insurance.:faint:

Hi Guys,

May I know if I can lay up a Singapore registered bike in Malaysia. Means, I ride the bike Malaysia first, then do the lay up process.

Thanks a lot.

Why would you want to do that? I do not think it is possible to lay up bikes using Malaysia Address. Just Imagine LTA/ROV need to cross the causeway just to check if the bike is still there at the stipulated address.

best way to handle is this:

1. call NTUC before hand with your information and they will get the whole insurance thing sorted out for you. you can do this a week or so in advance.

2. go to NTUC to collect your papers...a few minutes.

3. go to do your inspection and apply road tax.

this is what the NTUC folks told me the last time i called about a month ago.

Must tell them beforehand and yes, must tow. Those bike shops has their race bikes on vans tho.

Hi guys i just want to know, is it possible that the lta will come and check during midnight? Like 3am 4am?

I believe such thing is depends on the officer or maybe they got their schedule to check. No idea. No point risking.
