Then there were 2 households singing karaoke at the 2 juctions leading to the 2 tolls??? and MC and the rest covered the distance within 15mins with that speed? I really think 4 dimension big time man....

We began our long way back from Petronas Muadzam Shah petrol stn, HC was as usual, flying with his bike on the long narrow dual carriageway. I was trying to catch up, not becos of the normal competitive manner, but becos of the highly reflective displacement of light from the opp cars on my windscreen with droplets of water, it was getting dark, and I can only see his tail lights. And I wouldn't wan to be left blinded in the roads... After the 1st bend as I marked (About 45mins later), MC was almost 20mins away... As usual he tries to let me overtake, but I signaled him to get ahead of me instead. He sensed my blindness and took a slow steady lead. At that point I was greatful at the speed that both our regular sweepers had, slow and steady. MC later told me he was going quite blind also... I later realised that a few of us had the same problem. We finally arrived at segamat fill-up. All had that shakened face but willing to brave on the stormy weather. We carried on. The road on Hoghway 1 was nothing short of crowded, as usual HC flew again, I was just keeping up, eventually DH and Elvin went off with the overtaking spree, ME also joined in.. And I was joined but IRAB, carefully following my blessed taillights. I was not seeing anything, so I quickly tailed the first car that has a matching comfortable speed, I was really saved. Eventually we reached the turning point to the YP tolls with ME marking, as he was wearing a dark jacket, with a dark colored bike, I nearly ran over him... I waved IRAB to move on and I help marked at a more prominent side of the road. After 2 sticks of the energy giver, and almost 30mins later, no sign of the next bike. I got quite worried and before my imaginations got the better of me I called MC. He said he just reach macap..???? I was confused, how can 2 pairs of eyes missed 3 bikes in a narrow junction. The house next to the junction was already singing their 10th song since I reached there.... I flagged ME to move off. Macap was a heaven (In fact the NSHW was already a welcomed sight)... MC had coffee for us readied on the table, we ate and relax for a while. The good thing is it was a really good rest from the "adventure" we had on the trunk roads, the bad was fatigue was catching up double time... no wonder the rest wanted to move off without coffee... it was wise of them. The last thing I know, I was travelling 80-90km/hr zigged-zagged on 2 lanes and dosing off at least 5 times on my bike... I was lucky to be alive.. def leopard has no effect on my state of mind at all... f*ck, this is the last time I ride like this, next time I stop and nap along the road... I had red bull at GP Esso and a quick puff before I could sleep again.. I was tearing the 2nd link bridge at 200km/hr to SG customs.. only then did I realised why I was so sleepy on the NSHW, there were no street lights... End of Report

Hello all,

thanks ALL for the nice ride, will be joining more if possible...

Special Thanks to:

Gr8White: for guiding me (later than foreseen...) true the checkpoint and to GP Esso and store my backpack ( still in GW, i will come and pick up somewhere )

Myself: for the great cornering (first stage ) so great and hard.... that i lost my numberplate:dot:

The Lunchplace: for the good lunch.

My fullsuit: that prevented me from doing funny things at the waterfall:)

Elvinat: for taking pictures from me at the waterfall....(last ones before the thunderstorms) :)

I_Ride_A_Bike: for asking if i was ok, standing besides eachother at the trafficlights, and hardly see eachother due to the rain, rain, rain... :)

Bite and her Pu55y: for the guide support, at the very difficult stage (darkness, thunderstorms, aquaplaning, up to Yong Pen) :)

ric78 and happy_cookies: for guiding me back true the checkpoints... without numberplate... into Singapore :)

My Country: cause we have lamposts on EVERY road and they are ON whole night...:)

So far so good, it was a very nice ride, and happy we all made it safe back home.

Encik Pat: to bad you could not make the ride.

By the time my passport, driving license, money, phone, camera, cigarettes, lighter... and the rest, are dried up i will be ready for another ride....:thumb:

I take a look at my pictures now, in memorial of a fantastic ride...:thumb:

We moved off at 6.55am due to delays of attendance. We reached mersing 9.15am for breakfast. Thanks to HC, the rest of the checkpoints was lead by him cos my GPS has no ram mount... all the rest of the bikers had done marker duty. MC was great at sweeping all from behind. Lunch was finished by 2.23pm, the crab was delicious, but thanks to HC again for recommending the steamed prawns, the taste still in my mind till now. We then decided to skip the club med and move towards the waterfall. I gave HC the waypt to turn to the waterfall but not the waterfall itself, but it was no issue, he got the waypt soon after. We paid and enter the falls, after we parked we tot we kana conn of our entrance fee, and it started to rain. Afew of us walked further, I was particularly surprised that in such a heavy rain, the dense trees sheltered us from the rain. I was amazed... sorry, amazed is too little a word to decribe my feeling, I was practically awed by the view of the waterfall with the size of a HDB flat in front of me, water was clear and fishes (sized smaller than ikan bilis) were swimming around. We left the place at 5.12pm after I dipped my feet, and Matthew dipped his whole body (on another site of course), kudos to him. Guy wanted to but he was so heavily armed with his gear... I guess he'll come by again. We reached the Petronas MUA... at 6.30pm. I think we'll suffer some trunk road at night after all... we are still 143km away from the NSHW. By maths we only have 1.5hrs of road, minus 30mins of daylight left equals 1hr of trunk road at night... HC, DH, Ric and me decided we should take highway 1 macap instead of the original plan cos of safety... and we headed off. That was the I last time I saw them....

It was 9.34pm when I sat down with a cup of coffee at macap, I was so giddy and tired from the rain. And I was so hungry also I ate nasi lemak and nasi soto at the same time... The rest of the report would be continued later as I have to keep an appt. See u again...
