We moved off at 6.55am due to delays of attendance. We reached mersing 9.15am for breakfast. Thanks to HC, the rest of the checkpoints was lead by him cos my GPS has no ram mount... all the rest of the bikers had done marker duty. MC was great at sweeping all from behind. Lunch was finished by 2.23pm, the crab was delicious, but thanks to HC again for recommending the steamed prawns, the taste still in my mind till now. We then decided to skip the club med and move towards the waterfall. I gave HC the waypt to turn to the waterfall but not the waterfall itself, but it was no issue, he got the waypt soon after. We paid and enter the falls, after we parked we tot we kana conn of our entrance fee, and it started to rain. Afew of us walked further, I was particularly surprised that in such a heavy rain, the dense trees sheltered us from the rain. I was amazed... sorry, amazed is too little a word to decribe my feeling, I was practically awed by the view of the waterfall with the size of a HDB flat in front of me, water was clear and fishes (sized smaller than ikan bilis) were swimming around. We left the place at 5.12pm after I dipped my feet, and Matthew dipped his whole body (on another site of course), kudos to him. Guy wanted to but he was so heavily armed with his gear... I guess he'll come by again. We reached the Petronas MUA... at 6.30pm. I think we'll suffer some trunk road at night after all... we are still 143km away from the NSHW. By maths we only have 1.5hrs of road, minus 30mins of daylight left equals 1hr of trunk road at night... HC, DH, Ric and me decided we should take highway 1 macap instead of the original plan cos of safety... and we headed off. That was the I last time I saw them....

It was 9.34pm when I sat down with a cup of coffee at macap, I was so giddy and tired from the rain. And I was so hungry also I ate nasi lemak and nasi soto at the same time... The rest of the report would be continued later as I have to keep an appt. See u again...

fromt hse to hse is 1071

from my place start counting the distance @ 0500 till i reached home @ 2359 total about 930km.. one of the longest ride i have had in a single day. :p

the trip was fun, but only so cause thank God that He granted us safety despite the shiddy weather... rained from 1740 till i reach home lor.. you can count hours we rode under the rain. @ KJE also raining leh..

bite,

so funny lor.. when we were having lunch you recalled i asked you whether we reached the 'offroad' route where u kept reminding me of safety, and then you told me we already passed it! i was like.... huh?? :dozed:

hehe!

ric78,

you are riding the FY STX with the Garmin Nuvi right? haha.. i thought you rode slowly waiting for the GW just before the Esso station @ around 2000H.

didn know you couldnt see the road ahead of you.

gr8white,

wah you ask me whether to go straight or turn left...lol.. i was just as lost as you were. good think i said, "Go straight la..."

i guess you were dam shagged already.. you looked very tired leh..

lastly,

why the hell andy and jon were still waiting(marking i guess?) for the last man at the toll before we hit NSH when all of us (including Mc) reached macap esso.. lol, i was stunned.. the STX rider told me they didn see any markers.. :faint:

haha.. funny thing is that when GUY chose to follow us back to sgp at macap, he only realised that his stuff was stil inside your GW Emerald treasure box 65km away..

this was the worst part of the trip... me and jon was there waiting for M.C(last bike) and M.C turn in the toll which me and jon did't see them and M.C also did't see us... and all of us hear the guy singing song at the same spot... something must be wrong at tat spot....
